The staff were all very nice, from the beginning till the end. We booked a two bedrooms room, one room was slightly bigger with a bathroom inside and a nicer view, one’s bathroom was outside and the window view was inward. The kitchen and living room space were both great and fully equipped. If you need to change towels or cleaning, you can arrange the service a day earlier. Tram, bus, and metro station were all close. I will definitely choose here again when I visit Amsterdam next time.

We (4 headcount) had a 2 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms for our 1 week stay. Except for the narrow spiral staircase to get to the main floor, the room was very spacious and inviting. We could not take the checkin suitcases up the stairs and had to unpack and carry our things up. Carry on bags was okay to carry up the spiral stairs. Our apartment also had a washer with dryer feature which was quite useful to run laundry per our convenience. The gym is pretty basic. There is no restaurant on the property premises but plenty of food places within 5-10 mnts walk. Please note that there is no maintenance available over the weekend - we had a minor issue with the washer/dryer which we troubleshooted ourselves to get it back to working state and on the last day the kitchen sink was draining water very slowly even though we never drained any food directly into the sink. Kitchen was well equipped. They had small coffee cups and staff was happy to provide 2 bigger cups upon my request. Though there is no daily housekeeping, we could get fresh towels etc from front desk whenever needed. The rooms were a bit cold due to draft from the windows and staff provided extra blankets for us. Overall, friendly staff and the clean/spacious apartment made our trip memorable.

Our stay at Wittenberg by Cove was mediocre. The location was superb! The building and unit were very nice. However, the table set had seen better days. There were gouges in the table and the chairs were heavily soiled. We had an issue with the radiator in the bedroom not heating. This was due to the placement of the WiFi thermostat in the living room. The radiators were also independently operated by WiFi. The living room got warm therefore it would not activate the bedroom radiator to heat. It wouldn’t even come on at all. I brought this to the attention to the front desk and I was told maintenance didn’t work on the weekend and we would basically be cold. We emailed Rafael the manager and he responded to us on Monday morning and provided a space heater for the bedroom. It would have been nice if the front desk would have offered this on Sunday evening as the low temperature was 3 degrees C. Many reviews indicated how friendly and helpful the front desk staff was. We found this to be the exact opposite. They were not friendly at all! Perhaps there are new employees. Every time we entered or exited the building they would not even greet you. We have traveled all over the World and usually receive a greeting from the staff. When I asked for a new room key it was palpable they were being inconvenienced and not friendly. We basically avoided any interactions with the front desk. I am not sure if I would return to this property in the future due to the staff!

I think some rooms would be nice, ours was right at the front corner, street level but the bedrooms and 1 bathroom was downstairs. There was street noise because the high window was at footpath level, and the grey water and sewerage pump was loud and not overly efficient.The heating is also controlled remotely but mostly that got better throughout our stay. The use of the laundry was inconvenient for us also. Check in staff were not overly helpful either, the cleaning lady was awesome though.

Trevlig personal men lite stök med temperaturen i rummet (vi hade 26,2-27 grader under ett dygn). Man måste be om allt hela tiden, toapapper, diskmaskinstabletter, handdukar osv). This property is amazing! It opperates as a long term stay apartment, but the staff are very willing to accommodate to hotel standards should you need. This property is surrounded by amazing local resturants, grocery stores, and tons of transit options. We stayed for 2 weeks, and loved that we could cook in the apartment, do our laundry, and hang around the courtyards if we didn't feel like moving much that day. The staff were above and beyond amazing! Everything I needed was just a quick ask away. Housekeeping only visits once a week, (which is perfect for me) but was always around if we needed anything.
