「We had a great stay at this historic hotel. Check in/check out was smooth. Great breakfast selection with hearty portion. Room is clean and bed is just the right firmness that you can wake up rejuvenated without backache. We also like how they stock plenty of welcome drinks and snacks in room to give us coziness to wind down in the cool weather.」

「Hotel is a little dated but room and bathroom were very clean. Fan was provided so temperature was comfortable. Room spacious and will be great if you have dogs. Bed relatively comfortable. Minor gripe is that the shower gel was very watered down so no use really. Other than that it’s a good budget option for this location and I would definitely stay there again.」

In spite of the wonderful advert featuring a restaurant I was told no kitchen tonight. Second room was very noisy overlooking the car park which doubles as a camping ground for motor homes, with ten present. No mattress cover and a very dirty mattress.
