“We had a great stay at this historic hotel. Check in/check out was smooth. Great breakfast selection with hearty portion. Room is clean and bed is just the right firmness that you can wake up rejuvenated without backache. We also like how they stock plenty of welcome drinks and snacks in room to give us coziness to wind down in the cool weather.”

“For the price, a great hotel with all you need to be comfortable. Loved the breakfast, and the staff were really helpful. A mini fridge would be good, as we had a heatwave. Cold water would have been great.”

“Hotel is a little dated but room and bathroom were very clean. Fan was provided so temperature was comfortable. Room spacious and will be great if you have dogs. Bed relatively comfortable. Minor gripe is that the shower gel was very watered down so no use really. Other than that it’s a good budget option for this location and I would definitely stay there again.”

“The Littleton Arms are in a convenient and easily accessible location. Rooms were comfortable and clean having recently been decorated to a high standard. Beds also comfortable and good pressure on shower even though on top floor. Breakfast was excellent having the full English while there were lots of good alternatives to choose from too. “Hottest day in May on record and the heating was on in my room. After speaking with staff three times and an hour and a half later, I was moved to another room. In spite of the wonderful advert featuring a restaurant I was told no kitchen tonight. Second room was very noisy overlooking the car park which doubles as a camping ground for motor homes, with ten present. No mattress cover and a very dirty mattress. Black mould on the bathroom ceiling which had been painted over but still showed……
