「This is a beautiful place to stay. Room was gorgeous with expensive fittings and everything thought of, free water, hair dryer, coffee bags, kettle etc. Breakfast delicious and I loved Eccleshall. Staff were lovely and so much nicer than staying in Stafford.」

「The service from the restaurant staff is impeccable. They are trained to a very high standard and we appreciate that attention to detail. We ordered from the Indian food menu and it was delicious with wine recommended by the server. 「We stayed in the Swallow room in the barn conversion. Everything you need in the room, inc. tea/coffee/biscuits. Spotlessly clean and great shower/en suite. Also, one of the best points, a large downstairs communal area. Settees and TV, complete with stocked kitchen with cooker hob microwave and fridge.」

「Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. 「The Barns Hotel is a great place to stay. Staff are very accommodating and friendly, room was comfortable and clean and there is free parking. The restaurant served reasonably priced food and the breakfast was lovely. The manager kept the bar open until we had all returned from a local festival. We would stay here again in the future 😁 」

「A very pleasant stay - stayed for a couple of nights whilst working in the area. All staff were very pleasant. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet area with lots of scenic countryside around to see. Just be aware that the rooms are on the 3rd floor and there are only stairs for access, but that is to be expected with a listed building.」
