“Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. We had breakfast (optional) which consisted of lots cold options, fresh fruits, juices cereals etc. Then a full range for any……

“I did not use restaurant. Although i did use Latte coffee machine 👌. Room was comfortable, bed extremely so👌. All room facilities were great. Staff very friendly & helpful. As a solo traveler i felt safe. Parking the only issue due to its proximity to Trentham Garden, restaurants & shops. People openly parking in hotel parking spaces & walking over to the shops. ”

“Stayed many many times over many years and always enjoyed the very friendly staff and the nice ambience AND the food. Also, great real ale! Very clean, good sized, comfortable rooms. Great food in the restaurant but this time the pork was not to my liking. Also, couldn't help but notice the reduced service at breakfast---where did those tiny coffee cups come from!? Also, I have to get my own coffee now. Small changes but is it the thin edge of the wedge! BUT, great staff! ”

“We had a great stay at this historic hotel. Check in/check out was smooth. Great breakfast selection with hearty portion. Room is clean and bed is just the right firmness that you can wake up rejuvenated without backache. We also like how they stock plenty of welcome drinks and snacks in room to give us coziness to wind down in the cool weather.”

“Had a lovely stay here as was down to visit Emma Bridgewater. The hotel was central with excellent parking across the road . we had a lovely twin room which was spacious and modern and clean . The reception staff were friendly and helpful . A nice busy bar with friendly staff which we enjoyed a drink in in the evening . We didn't dine in the hotel as ventured out in the evening to support the local businesses. Didn't try the gym . The only downside is there was no spa / sauna / pool but we……

“Black mould around the bath. Inadequate heating, the radiators didn’t switch on and made the room quite cold. My room tv arial was broken, however the receptionist was very helpful and sourced me another arial cable from another room. ”
