"Clean clean clean !!! When they provide a non-smoking room that is what you get; not a room that has been sprayed to disguise cigarette odors that makes it smell as bad or worse than just cigarettes. I am a former smoker who cannot abide even walking by someone smoking outdoors. I do not rate frequently. These proprietors really make the effort and it shows. They're also very nice people. Anderson is a good layover on a long road trip, and Motel 6 Anderson is within walking distance of groceries and fast food too. We've stayed there before, and look forward to returning."

"Room was good sized. We also didn't hear the other guests at all inside the room. All requests were handled promptly. We paid a discounted rate through Expedia, and for that reason, it was a bargain for what you got. We didn't eat at the onsite restaurant (which was a little pricey for us), but it might have been good.The best part was the beautiful grounds and being right on the river. "

"The lobby was clean and updated, and the staff was friendly. However, it was a different experience upon arrival at the rooms. The carpet in the room looked as if it had never been vacuumed or cleaned, and even the TV remote was grimy. "
