"The cabin is beautiful! Lots of space for our group of 16. I had to wipe down the kitchen counter when I got there because there was something sticky splattered across it...and all over the handles of the knives in the knife block. The shower curtain waa very moldy in the downstairs bathroom, and it hadn't been swept. The dishwasher smelled so moldy we didn't use it. I met the owner because she came to fix the A/C, and she was so kind. Her cleaners aren't doing right by her.An address sign right on the gate would be helpful, so you know you are in the right place, especially if arriving after dark."

"My husband and I were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. This was a wonderful place for our weekend visit. The host was kind and considerate, leaving some homemade bread and eggs and such a sparkling clean cottage! We enjoyed every minute!"

"The property is everything shown in the photos and more. Very well kept home, has everything you need for your stay, a well stocked kitchen, plenty of toiletries, linens, extra towels, 5 master suites plus a full double bunk bed room for plenty of kids. Parking is abundant, we had five couples and five vehicles, plenty of room for everyone! We would absolutely stay here again, and the views are incredible. Just a note, if you are staying in the winter, the roads up to the house are steep and very curvy, so 4WD would probably be a necessity like anything else in the mountains. "Excellent property in the heart of Montreat and so close to downtown Bkack Mountain. Plenty of space, AC and Heat worked great, and the beds were so comfortable! Tons of kitchen appliances and tools, just overall great house! We will return!"
