Great stay!

Great property for an entire family. My kids loved the downstairs kids room/playroom. This house had everything you needed, and the host was very responsive to any questions we had.

Very comfortable home elevated above AF golf course. Centrally located just minutes from town, ski lifts, Monte Verde lake, country club, pool, etc... Eagles Nest & Cimmaron state parks nearby too. Beautiful area and already planning my next trip!

Family Getaway

This house was perfect for our family getaway! Grandparents stayed on the top floor, kids on second floor and had the whole bottom floor. The hot tub was great and deer came right up to the house to see us. Mont Verde Lake was fabulous!

Wonderful place to stay

We were fortunate enough to stay here for our girls camp group. It was so peaceful and was perfect for our big group. All the girls were able to stay downstairs in the bunk room, and leaders were able to have the rooms on the main level and up upstairs. The location was perfect for the activities we did throughout the week, and we especially loved watching the deer walk all around the property.

Winter Getaway

The house was very nice with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was very well stocked and the location was great. We fed the deer and the kids had fun on the sleds! We received a lot of snow during our stay and we were in AWD vehicles, but the hill was a little difficult to get up. Thankfully the owners had the snow plows come by and cleared the drive for us!

Fall Time with Family and Friends

The house provided sufficient space for 12 of us! It also provided everything we needed from towels, trash bags, dishes, kitchen utensils, etc! Our family was able to cook homemade meals, hangout in hot tub, make S’mores by the fire and play family games around the dinner table! It could be cleaned a little better but overall rated it a 5! Great for the whole family

Everyone had a great time at this house. The house is roomy and inviting. There was plenty of space for everyone to have quiet time if they needed it. The kids loved playing ping pong and took over the downstairs area. The house was well stocked. The washer and dryer came in handy to keep the towels stocked. We made great use of the hot tub and the fire pit. We had a small issue with some of the cookware and it was quickly handled. I would not hesitate to stay at this or any of the other properties they have to offer. Communication was great from start to finish.

The listing was exactly as described. I’ve never stayed in a place so well stocked and I’ve used Vrbo for years. We had a large group and never ran out of dish soap, paper towels, laundry detergent. Really appreciated the house being stocked for the size of group it is advertised for. The communication with the owners was excellent. I had two questions the first day and was responded to within the hour both times. Would definitely recommend this house and especially these property owners!

Fantastic fall break at Mountain Hideaway!

We had a wonderful fall break at Mountain Hideaway (10/11–10/17)! Perfect for our family of four. We loved fishing, hitting golf balls, relaxing in the hot tub, playing ping pong, and making s’mores by the fire pit. The home was super clean, well-stocked, and felt so cozy—truly a home away from home. Would definitely stay again!

Nice, clean house with many options for sleeping arrangements! We enjoyed the hot tub, ping pong table and multiple TVs. We also enjoyed seeing the deer so close to the decks! The kitchen had great appliances and several options for seating during meals. The host was very helpful and always responded in a timely manner! We arrived after dark…the house was all lit up waiting for us to arrive. It made us feel very welcomed!! We definitely want to rent this house again!!

Amazing spring break skiing get away with friends

This property was great for our 3 families to get together for some spring break skiing and fun! The bunk room was perfect for our kids to play and sleep! First family vacation and first ski trip

The kids wanted to snow ski and the adults wanted a comfortable place to stay and we got both. The home was comfortable, clean, all the amenities that were listed in the description. Wonderful place and responsive host!

Our stay was great in every way. All was as described in the listing. If I have to search for something that wasn’t perfect, I guess I’d say that we would have liked a few extra towels. There were supposed to be some under the bathroom sinks, but at least in the first floor bathroom there were no extra towels and no soap for the shower.

Family Vacay!

We booked this home just 3 days before arriving for 7 nights for 8 - my husband & me, our daughter & her husband, & 4 grandsons, ages 16, 15, 13, 11. Our g.sons loved the downstairs bunk room with the ping pong table! It perfectly suited our desires with the hot tub, fire pit, ping pong, deck, beautiful views + wildlife! This home gave all of us fun things to do & was perfectly laid out in a wonderful neighborhood. We enjoyed making smores at the fire pit & relaxing in the hot tub. I enjoyed walking around outside each morning, particularly the morning that I saw a newborn fawn in the grass. I would recommend that the light bulbs be brighter & working & that the worn out plugs be replaced. We would definitely stay here again!
