"We had a wonderful stay at La Fortuna Lodge. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and the overall vibe was great. We stayed in a room with a view of the volcano and we were able to watch birds directly. The bed and room were comfortable. Centrally located for easy access to shops and restaurants. The provided breakfast was delicious. The team happily accommodated us to provide vegan versions by leaving out the egg and cheese and providing some additions. We would stay again if we get the chance to visit La Fortuna again."

"I stayed at Hotel Secreto for one night as a part of my trip to Costa Rica and it is a great spot! It was beautiful, had delicious breakfast and the staff were excellent! I arrived around 11 with a shuttle from San Jose and they let me start the check in process early and held my backpack for me while I adventured until I was able to receive my key at normal check in time! When I made it back over it was drizzling and one of the kind reception workers actually walked me to my room with an umbrella. The next morning, I was waiting for my shuttle to Monteverde and another one of the reception workers actually called them to ensure my ride was on the way! I left around sunset for a hot spring reservation and got lucky with a gorgeous view of the volcano. And the next morning, I even saw a three toed sloth in the parking lot before getting into my shuttle!!"

"Beautiful, big apartment (kitchen, dining area, sitting area, big bathroom, and separate bedroom) with ac/heat and private parking. Excellent location, near Monteverde and Santa Elena National Parks. We walked to the downtown area and enjoyed coffee at a local Cafe Monteverde for coffee, lots of shopping, and the guided tour of the Orchid Garden. The breakfast was delicious and the view overlooking the cloud forest was breathtaking! Diego gave us excellent recommendations for spending our time wisely. Don't miss this gem!"

"Unique experience and perfect location. Kevin, Daniela and Christian took very good care of us. The staff is friendly and attentive. The breakfast was included in the reservation, which was delicious. Night walk on the property was an excellent experience and the guide did a great job explaining everything we spotted on the trail. Our room was in excellent condition, well appointed and beautiful. True immersion in the rainforest!"
