"Impressive attention to detail. Rooms are small yet comfortable. They are well laid out and have all the amenities. Staff is attentive, friendly and helpful. Beautiful interior design throughout. Excellent breakfast buffet plus cooked to order options. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious too. Pool area (indoor and out) is small, quiet and intimate. There is only room for a few chaise lounges so they may not always be available. The hotel is designed so you never have to venture out, but you don't want to miss walking the streets of beautiful Angro do Heroismo."

"This hotel was an absolute gem! Centrally located with fantastic access to the old town and plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. The facilities were amazing, with the pool right on our doorstep — perfect for cooling down and relaxing in the evenings. Breakfast was superb, with a fantastic selection from the buffet as well as freshly cooked options available on request. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the whole hotel felt luxurious and decadent — such a treat! Parking was also really easy, with plenty of spaces available in the square for just a couple of euros a night. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily return."

Excellent location if you’re accessing the marina to catch a ferry to other islands. Nice breakfast offered in the morning complete with plant-based options, which was appreciated."

"This hotel is a standout in the area. Perfect location, easy and accessible parking, in-house dining, and the decor was outstanding. Room was spacious, had everything we could need for our stay. Our one issue was the same as many have noted in reviewes: the air conditioners don't seem to really work. The one in the bedroom seemed to sort of work, but definitely never reached the set temperatures, so we ensured we kept the bedroom door closed at all times to give it the best chance. The air conditioner in the living area responsible for the rest of the apartment definitely didn't do anything besides blowing room temperature air. At some points, it was better to open the patio door for the less warm outside air. This should definitely be looked into as it was pretty uncomfortable."
