“My rating is partially on my stay but more so the staff experience. Background: I have always wanted to visit this property. I am from the West Coast in California and it is a long journey to get there upon arrival. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. It is everything that I wanted in terms of a retreat and a place to really have a sense of peace. “Modern, newer, central hotel in a pedestrian only street. So be aware you will have to walk a short distance with your luggage. We parked in a small public lot a 5 minute walk up a hill (parking is free on weekends). Beds are comfortable. I booked a standard room which is not that big but fine for a short stay. Stayed one night at the beginning of our trip to Sao Miguel and then 2 nights at the end. Had a terrace the first time and no terrace the second time. Preferred having the terrace room……

Auf den Bildern sieht es so aus als ob das Hotel und die Balkone zum Meer gerichtet sind, jedoch hat man bei einem Zimmer mit Meerblick lediglich einen seitlichen Meerblick. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, aber auch nicht mehr. Etwas Mißverständlich war die Nutzung des Innenpools und der Sauna, dieses wird als Day Sia ausgelegt und es werden extra Gebühren erhoben, die aber nicht ihr Geld wert sind, für die kostenlose Nutzung ist dies in……

“Very nice "premium" property. Great amenities overlooking the water. Wonderful, attentive and interested staff. Breakfast was very good, but got booring after a few days. Some aspects of the room were a little tired and different (like the bathroom lighting was insufficient) but it was a very pleasant and spacious room. Bar drinks were priced more like NY than the Azores. Overall, a very pleasant stay. ”
