“excellent all around. the cleanliness, the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff, the food was good. the espresso martinis with baileys at the bar with live music every night hit the spot after long days of adventure. the concierge sever, baggage handlers and valet service as great and convenient to maximize your time on the island. this was a beautiful hotel and amazing island. this is a trip worth doing again.”

“Nicole, Aidlia, Nathalia, Rodrigo, Miguel displayed passion i envied. There was nothing too much to ask. The same for the breakfast show kitchen Chef with the goatie beard navigating the demands for all sort of fancy egg diahes. I am particularly amazed by his attention to detail and multi tasking skills. Well trained i thought! That required focus, and a great amount of love for the job. The passion for their job was evident. For their island! We love that! The hotel is a beautiful wonder.……

“Raquel and the team are incredible! They corrected issues and errors expeditiously. The team took the time to acknowledge my friend and I celebrating our milestone birthday with a surprise. I literally called the front desk at any hour for help, thanks Jon, even arranging taxi rides when uber and bolt wouldn’t pick me up. It’s in the center of town. The only thing to know, is it’s located on a street that closes so taxi may not pick you up right in front. But it’s a very short walk to the……

“Sehr schönes, neues Hotel mit Innen- und Außenpool, Sauna, Fitnessraum, Bar und Restaurant. Alle Mitarbeiter waren zu jeder Zeit hilfsbereit, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Einziges Manko, wofür das Hotel allerdings nichts kann, ist die Lage bzw. Umgebung. Wenn man immer mit dem Mietwagen unterwegs ist, wird man davon nichts mitbekommen. Wenn man aber gern zu Fuß unterwegs ist und ins Zentrum von Ponta Delgada möchte, muss man unweigerlich eine Straße entlang laufen, die als etwas unsicher……

“Highly recommend this hotel. This hotel is well situated, about a 2 minute walk to center of town. Parking outside is metered from 8pm-7am, or hotel offers parking 10€ a day. Lot directly across the street is 6€ a day, or if you are ok to walk about 2 blocks- free parking on the street (ask hotel which streets, they will tell you) Clara, Tomas, Luis and Tugo really went above and beyond and help my cousin and I during our stay . “The hotel is exceptional and the area where it is located is breathtaking. While you have to pay in order to use the geothermal pools anywhere else on the island, there are geothermal pools right here in the hotel for your use anytime of the day or night! The hotel leaves little treats and trinkets in your room for you throughout most of your stay, there are incredible tasting teas with cookies in the lobby area, and breakfast was divine! We highly recommend this hotel!”

“Fantastisch hotel. Heerlijk ontbijt en diner. Mooi zwembad dat verwarmd is. Heerlijke kamer met goed bed. Super service. Als ik iets mag noemen dan kan het Turks stoombad in de spa wat beter. De massage is super maar heel duur.”

“Fantastisch hotel met geweldig uitzicht op zee. Zalig ontbijt en diner. Zowel binnen als buiten bij goed weer. Niet goedkoop maar het zeker waard. Als ik een suggestie mag geven is dat het moeilijk is om het raam/deur open te zetten omdat naar binnen draait en er rolgordijnen voor hangen.”
