「Staff were always ready to answer questions and direct me in the right directions. I wish it was warmer and sunnier to enjoy the out door pool. The few things I was disappointed in was the coffee in the morning….Nespresso? Or the other latter maker. The fruit was fair. The dinners were excellent and drinks were great」

「Amazing place to stay in Furnas!!! After hours "exclusive" access to two main attractions on the island - thermal pool and botanical garden - is something no other place can compete with. In addition it is a beautiful, high-end artdeco hotel in immaculate condition and great staff. Great restaurants on premises, though places in town are great too - much cheaper and way more authentic.」

「Hotel was in walking distance to many places in the city. Amenities were very adequate. Front desk staff and custodial staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, even arranged taxi for us. Breakfast was very good, offered an excellent variety of foods, and a continental breakfast beginning at 5 am for folks with early departures. Dining room supervisor was helpful in getting ice for me. One waitress was quite unfriendly. I highly recommend this hotel.」

「The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that the mattress was hard as a rock and you could feel all the springs. Otherwise this was such an excellent stay. Easy walk into the historic town centre. Very clean. Beautiful ocean views. The staff was lovely. The breakfast was great. The pool was so cute and a nice bar next to it to have a cocktail next to the pool. Overall such a wonderful experience.」

Momo restauarant was outstanding. Spa facilities can be used even without a spa appointment. There are only 21 rooms and each one is a piece of heaven.」

「The pool is not heated and even the kids had difficulty swimming at the end of June. Beach is nice to walk on. Did not go in the water. Jellyfish on the beach. The food is ok, not many options for kids and strong on fish (with lots of bones still in). Water is not included with dinner, so a minimum of 5 euros for a bottle. Hotel is a bit dated. Music in the hallways on speakers start at 7am. The grounds are nice and well maintained. The check in staff was nice and the kids enjoyed the flavored...
