“The hotel was in an excellent location, with a stunning view of the sea. The rooms were tidy and clean, and especially the staff was friendly and eager to help with any request. At breakfast, there was everything you need in the restaurant that faces the sea. In summary, an excellent hotel that is definitely recommended.”

“Front desk people so helpful. Arrived on l early flight, they found us a room to check into so we didn't have to wait. They also were able to let us use the garage parking spot before 3p and even after we checked out as it was available(they rent about 3 spots in a garage about 2 blocks away). Note-if you want to rent one of their parking spots make sure to tell them ahead. Also, after 11am the street is pedestrian only so if you arrive after that and have lots or big luggage it could be a pain……

“Hotel was right on the marina near city center. Great location. I was able to drop my bags early and was picked up for my tour there. The service is unmatched. I forgot several things and they were able to help me. In room coffee was amazing as well. When I come back this is the place I'm going to stay.”

“Wonderful stay at the hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff great restaurant serving authentic cuisine a wonderful buffet breakfast with all foods you would ever want to eat and drink located in a great spot for daily excursions and pure relaxation. The garden with the pool is fantastic, very quaint and restful. I wholeheartedly recommended for it splendor, location, and just a luxurious feel.”

“The view!!! While deciding where to stay in the Azores, I do not think the reviews were clear about the view at this location. Truly, the view was amazing. We were lucky that our room had an incredible view, but the view can be enjoyed from many places throughout the resort. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The room had a hot tub, and it was a great for unwinding at the end of a long day exploring. The food was very good at dinner, breakfast just OK in my opinion. The mocktail (Sunset……

“Great hotel, very clean and good amenities (spa is a plus, with sauna and jacuzzi). My only suggestion would be to increase the internal pool and jacuzzi’s water temperature, since is was unusual cold weather for this time of the year. ”

“To start, I’ll say that this is an objectively nice place to stay. There are great views of the sea and the rooms are big. The bed is very comfy. However, there were a number of important details missing, especially for the price. The shower in my room had a wooden floor. This clearly never dries and made the room smell horrible. It also felt quite unhygienic. The same issue existed near the pools - the wooden flooring is slightly warped and rotten, which is a bit of a hazard. The sauna didn’t……

“Good hotel overall. Fluctuating prices but for $198/night stay its great. Great for solo travel and relax after day of hiking. Big grocery store next door for all supplies. I’d recommend this place.”
