We throughly enjoyed our brief stay at the Lark and Loon. Kevin and Lesley are fantastic hosts. They took fantastic care of us from the start with Kevin providing a warm and informative welcome and the super tasty frittata , fresh bread and berries for breakfast they whipped up and more tips and tricks provided by Kevin. Our room was spacious and cozy, the bed was super comfortable and the shower was great. They had excellent wifi to boot! We highly recommend the Lark and Loon if you are staying in Annapolis Royal.

Kevin and Leslie were wonderful hosts who served us a delicious breakfast - a most welcome treat after the typical hotel fare. The house is a beautifully renovated period home with large spacious bedrooms and private bathrooms. We were impressed with the attention to detail and the cleanliness. Kevin loves Nova Scotia and gave us many great recommendations for things to do and restaurants to visit.

Kevin and Lesley were perfect hosts at the Lark and Loon, so many interesting conversations, re pieces of pottery, historic pictures, the bed and breakfast was so period perfect. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast of the most delicious fruit and homemade granola yogurt parfait topped off with a scrumptious white chocolate cranberry scone from Kevin's grandma's famous recipe.. We had a wonderful night Thank you

Very clean and cozy. Huge room and very well isolated you don't hear any other clients and the inn was full when we stayed. Delicious breakfast, although a bit early if you like to sleep in. The hosts were amazing, very kind.

Kevin and Leslie are fantastic hosts, super friendly and helpful with all kinds of useful tips to share. Our room was lovely, large and comfortably furnished. The house has several dedicated spaces just for guests so one can enjoy time outside the room. It is an easy 15 minute walk to all the main shops in Annapolis Royal. Kevin's scones were worth the stay, all by themselves.

Highly recommend, we only stayed one night but wished we had more time to spend as the place has feel of your favourite armchair with many interesting curiosities. Kevin is a walking history lesson and he and Leslie serve wonderful breakfast and our stay was highlight of our stay in Annapolis Royal.

Lesley and Kevin were very knowledgeable about the history of their heritage property and Nova Scotia in general . It was obvious they took pride in their property and the service they provide . They made us feel very welcome and comfortable 🙂. The breakfast was delicious and well prepared and we were asked about our preferences . See you next year !
