Wunderschöner Urlaub - traumhafter Pool

Ausstattung: + Küche sehr gut ausgestattet mit viel Geschirr, Töpfen und sonstigen Küchenutensilien; großer Gefrierschrank vorhanden, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler; viele Grillzangen, Eiswürfelbehälter etc. + neue Waschmaschine + gute Betten + Rollos zur Verdunkelung + Klimaanlage im Wohnraum und in den beiden Schlafzimmern - nur ein großes und ein kleines Handtuch pro Person und eine Garnitur Bettwäsche pro Person ist für 2 Wochen trotz Waschmaschine einfach zu wenig - mehr Haken und Handtuchhalter in den zwei Badezimmern wären wünschenswert - die Decken für weitere Gäste sind unsauber und beanspruchen fast den gesamten Platz in den Kleiderschränken; hier müsste man sich eine andere Lösung überlegen Pool: + einfach nur traumhaft + tolle Größe + sehr gepflegt; Pool wird jeden Mittwoch gereinigt und gewartet Außenbereich: + zwei große und mehrere kleine Sonnenschirme + genügend Liegen + Außendusche + Grill Lage des Hauses: + traumhafte Berglage mit schönem Ausblick + genügend Parkplätze direkt oberhalb des Hauses vorhanden - Mietwagen unbedingt erforderlich, da Kefalas doch relativ abgelegen ist - kaum Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in direkter Nähe; teuer und wenig Auswahl Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter: + hat auf Fragen sofort und hilfsbereit reagiert + hat immer schnell Lösungen für Anliegen / Probleme gefunden + sehr entgegenkommend und freundlich + hat genaue Wegbeschreibung zur Villa zur Verfügung gestellt

Fantastischer Ausblick, nettes Dörfchen, exzellenter Gastgeber

Wir haben über Ostern ein großzügiges Haus mit Blick aufs Meer, Pool und nicht einzelstehend gesucht. All das haben wir hier gefunden und mit Pon Logan sogar noch den absolut besten Gastgeber, den man sich wünschen kann! Das Haus steht auf der etwas abseits von der Ortstmitte auf einem Hügel. Nach rechts kann Mann übers Meer bis Rethymnon und nach links bis fast Chania sehen. Die Lage ist wirklich super, man braucht aber zwingend ein Auto. Im Haus haben wir 5 uns ausbreiten können, es war alles da, was man braucht. Es gibt zwar nicht viel Ablagemöglichkeiten in den Schränken, aber wir haben alles verstaut. Sogar ein Kinderbett und ein Beistellbett war da, bei unserer Ankunft alles bereits sauber bezogen. Was wirklich toll ist sind die Betten, gute Matratzen und alle mit wasserdichten Bezug, was mit Kindern nicht unrelevant ist. Es gibt ein Bad mit Dusche und Wanne, und ein WC mit Waschmaschine. Die Küche hatte auch viel Platz und wir haben oft dort gekocht. Sie hätte etwas sauberer sein können bei unserer Ankunft, aber das hat uns nicht weiter gestört. Einzig unter der Spüle müffelt es etwas. Die Spülmaschine hat gute Arbeit geleistet. Den 32“ TV haben wir nur selten genutzt, es gibt auf jeden Fall Sat-TV. Internet gibt es gegen Extragebühr auch, allerdings ist jedes 5G Smartphone (Empfang 2-3 Balken) schneller. Ich habe Remote gearbeitet und meistens den Hotspot genutzt. Danke an Pon für die stete Erreichbarkeit und immer freundliche Hilfe!

A Relaxing Getaway in Kefalas

Our stay in Kefalas was simply wonderful. The accommodation matched the description perfectly and was cozy and comfortable. Even though Pon wasn't on-site, he remained a helpful and attentive host, always just a message away. The beauty of Greece, its welcoming people, and the delicious local cuisine made our vacation truly special. We can't wait to return and explore more of this captivating country.

Lovely villa, seaview location

Very clean and spacious property. Comfortably would sleep 4 adults in 2 sizeable bedrooms. Further sleeping downstairs available in 2 futon beds (maybe ok for children/teenagers) 2 min walk from centre of Kefalas where there are a few tavernas and bars. Lovely pool and terrace. Wir Lieben das Haus

Für uns war das Haus einfach nur PERFEKT. Es liegt auf einem Hügel mit super Aussicht auf die Küste von Kreta. Alles notwendige ist im Haus verfügbar und der Pool ist ein Traum . Kefalas ist ein kleines scharmantes Dorf mit 3 Tavernen (die wir ausprobiert haben). Der kleine Bio Market hat das nötigste, für den grösseren Einkauf muss man etwas weiter fahren. Pon der Hausbesitzer war telefonisch jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns auch sehr geholfen. Wir können dieses Haus für Familien oder für eine Reisegruppe empfehlen. Wir würden es auf Jedenfall wieder buchen.

Einfach wunderschön

Ich kann das nur jeden empfehlen. Der Vermieter war super freundlich super nett super hilfsbereit ich kann einfach nicht meckern. Ich habe so viel gesucht. Ich kann einfach nicht meckern auch das Haus. Es war einfach nur fantastisch. Der Ausblick vom Haus zum Meer einfach grandios und der gesamte Urlaub war einfach traumhaft schön wir hatten sehr viele erholsame Tage 14 Tage um genau zu sein alles rund um sehr zufrieden kann das nur jedem empfehlen

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub in Kefalas!

Ich war 3 Wochen in Pon's Villa. Es war alles blitz blank sauber. Der Pool wurde einmal in der Woche gereinigt. Es sind genügend Sonnenliegen vorhanden. Die Küche ist komplett mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Pon ist ein sehr fürsorglicher Gastgeber, der sich sofort um alles kümmert, falls etwas nicht in Ordnung ist. Ich würde jederzeit wieder die Villa mieten.

Great Accommodation with stunning views

Very clean spacious villa. All the equipment you need for a self catering Holliday. Located a short walk from the village of Kefalas which is a typical Greek village. There are two mini markets and two bars and a restaurant. Ideally placed for exploring this region of Chania and Rethymno.

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances. La villa est bien agencée, avec une belle piscine et une vue magnifique sur la mer et le village de Kefalas. Nous avons profité de la tranquillité de ce joli village. La maison est à proximité de belles plages comme Georgioupolis et d'accès facile vers Rethymnon ou La Canée en voiture.

Wonderful stay in Kefalas villa, Crete

We had a fantastic stay at Pon's villa in Keralas. What an amazing setting in a lovely traditional Greek village, and the perfect location for getting to nearby beaches on Souda Bay and Chania, Rethymno and Lake Kournas. The villa is clean, comfortable and comes with everything you could need including good Wifi. Outside there are wonderful sea views and a lovely private pool - I found it really refreshing in the heat, although my wife and daughter felt the water was a little cold. Would really recommend the Meterizi taverna just a short walk away. Pon was the perfect host and offered us this villa at no extra cost as a replacement for the one we'd originally booked in Almyrida due to building work taking place nearby. His communication and help in making this happen was first class - he also recommended a very good car hire place at Chania Airport. What a lovely few days we had in Kefalas - I cannot recommend it highly enough and we will certainly be back. Pete, Jo and Hannah

Schöne Villa mit privatem Pool

Wir waren 2 Wochen in der Villa in dem kleinen Örtchen Kefalas und haben uns nicht einen Moment gelangweilt. Die Villa ist gut ausgestattet, mit Klimaanlage, 2 Bädern, gute Küchenausstattung, eigener Pool. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter lief sehr gut und sehr freundlich. Um an die Strände zu fahren, benötigt man ein Auto. Wir waren von unserem Urlaub begeistert und können die Villa nur weiterempfehlen.

Beautiful scenery.

Me and my partner were fortunate enough to spend a week at this beautiful villa at the start of May 2022. Located in a quite village at the top a mountain, this villa is a perfect getaway for anybody looking for a more quite and relaxed vacation as appose to the "usual" busy and bustling tourist locations. A car rental is a must as you are quite secluded when at "home", though local shops are only a 2 or 3 minute drive away. The nearest beach we found was perhaps a 15 minute drive down the meandering mountain roads. I would definitely recommend this place and we will most likely return in the near future. Ps, the pictures on this site don't so the villa justice. It's actually a lot bigger than it looks in these pics and also more updated. Pps, Pon was a great host and very helpful throughout our stay. Schön wars ...

Wir haben für 2 Wochen eine wunderschöne Zeit in Pons Villa verbracht. Der Weg dorthin ist etwas schwierig, besonders wenn man im Dunkeln ankommt, aber Pon hat uns per Telefon sicher ans Ziel geführt und dort sogar auf uns gewartet. In der Villa standen bereits Willkommensgeschenke, wie Obst, Wein, Wasser und Milch, worüber wir uns sehr gefreut haben. Frühling auf Kreta kann manchmal auch recht kühl sein, aber die Villa hat zum Glück genügend Heiz-/Klimageräte (ausser im Bad) dafür hat uns Pon extra noch eine mobile Heizung zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Villa ist mit allem eingerichtet was man braucht. Das Doppelbett war für unsere Verhältnisse mit 140cm etwas klein, aber das mag für andere völlig okay sein und es gibt ja Ausweichmöglichkeiten. Mehr als 4 Personen sollten die Villa unserer Meinung nach aber nicht bewohnen, sonst wird es doch sehr eng. Der Blick von hier oben ist wunderschön, durch die Lage aber oft auch sehr windig bis stürmisch. Ein Auto braucht man hier auf jeden Fall. Die Wege bis hoch sind ziemlich serpentinenreich und teilweise recht eng, besonders in den Ortschaften. 2 kleine Supermärkte sowie zwei kleine Gastwirtschaften sind fußläufig im Ort erreichbar. Pon ist ein bezaubernder und ausgeprochen freundlicher Gastgeber, immer erreichbar, hat für alle Fragen oder Probleme jederzeit ein offenes Ohr und ist sehr auf das Wohl seiner Gäste bedacht. Wir können Pon als Gastgeber uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Agréable séjour

Vue saisissante sur la mer! La piscine permet de se rafraîchir. Il faut absolument un véhicule pour accéder à la villa ainsi que profiter pleinement des possibilités de promenades. Les plages et les commodités ne sont pas loin en voiture . Séjour très reposant et agréable.

Wonderful and Authentic Cretan Vacation

My family (four adults and two children) stayed at the villa for eight days at the beginning of July and it did not disappoint. Located high in the village of Kefalas, the location of the villa ensured we had an authentic Cretan experience while providing us easy access to several beaches and tourist locations in western Crete. We enjoyed to beautiful view of the Mediterranean from the villa, the short walks to village, its two small grocery stores, and three tavernas. From the start of the trip we felt welcome and left feeling a sense of loss as we departed from our new found friends. Pon and his team were excellent! From the start, the communication was excellent and was maintained throughout our trip until our arrival back home. We were able to contact Pon at any time, and any need we had was addressed immediately. The villa had everything to guarantee a great vacation. With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a sofa sleeper our family of six had plenty of room and was always comfortable with A/C located in every room. The washer and hanging rack allowed us to pack light while ensuring we had clean clothes every day. We spent most mornings cooking breakfast in the well-stocked kitchen as the kids (and some adults) enjoyed a morning swim prior to the day’s activities. Upon arrival, the pool was clean and a pool cleaner stopped by once during our stay. There is ample seating in and outside of the house and Pon provided us some basic necessities to get our trip started. You must have a car for this location, but we would recommend a car for any stay in Crete in order to take advantage of the multitude of beaches and historical sites throughout the island. Pon provided us a local car rental company that was able to rent us a vehicle that could accommodate our large family at a far more affordable price than what can be found online. There is free adequate parking at the villa. Our family was able to visit seven beaches, the archaeological sites of Aptera and Knossos, as well as the Venetian port of Chania. In addition to Kefalas, we had wonderful, affordable Cretan cuisine in Kalyves, Aptera, Chania, Heraklion, and Georgeopoulis. For cash we would stop in Vamos, which has an bank/ATM as well as a bakery, several small cafes, shops, and grocery stores. The villa has a television, DVD player, movies, playing cards, and dominoes, but we spent most of time lounging at the pool, visiting with the locals, or visiting the beaches and sites.

Wunderschöne Villa

Diese Villa ist wirklich unglaublich schön,der Pool ist groß und durch die abgelegene Lage kann man auch spät abends noch darin schwimmen oder die Kinder planschen lassen. Der Vermieter ist unfassbar nett und für Fragen jederzeit offen! Auch die Schlüsselübergabe unkompliziert über den Tresor. Ein Auto ist aber flicht, ohne dieses kommt man dort nicht weg. Elafonisi beach,Metala und balos alles ca 2 Stunden Fahrt aber lohnt sich total. Wunderschöner Urlaub

Wundervolle Villa mit tollem Pool und grandiosem Ausblick.

Wir waren dort für ein Woche in einer Gruppe von 6 Freunden. Die Villa ist am höchsten Punkt des kleinen und ruhigen Ort Kefalas gelegen mit einem privaten Pool und einem tollen Ausblick. Auch Morgenmuffel sollten es sich nicht entgehen lassen mindesten einmal zeitig aufzustehen, um den Tag mit einem atemberaubend schönen sonnenaufgang zu genießen. Die Buchung, wie auch Check-In und Check-Out, verliefen problemlos. Der Schlüssel für die Villa ist über einen Tresor an der Hausfassade erhältlich. Wodurch auch andere Ankunfts- und Abfahrtszeiten kein Problem sind. Zudem befinden sich, außer zwei weitere Villen unterhalb dieser Villa, keine weiteren Häuser in näherer Umgebung, was es erlaubt auch nachts mal etwas lauter zu feiern, Musik zu hören oder den privaten Pool zu benutzen. Der Ort Kefalas ist ein kleines ruhiges Dorf, welches über zwei Märkte und drei Restaurants verfügt. Die Märkte sind auch Sonntags geöffnet und bieten eigentlich alles was man braucht. Große Einkäufe sollten jedoch in großen Supermärkten (Lidl) getätigt werden. Ein Mietauto ist hierfür leider unverzichtlich. Welches wir über den Vermieter bei autoclub car rentals gebucht und dementsprechend auch Rabatt bekommen haben. Zudem war der Preis dort unschlagbar. Wir hatten keine zusätzlichen Kosten für Versicherung oder Kaution, was bei den meisten Vermietungen schnell mal im vierstelligen Bereich sein kann. Mit dem Auto kann man dann auch die zahlreichen Orte und Sehenswürdigkeiten Kretas erkunden. Durch die zentrale Lage Kefalas sind so gut wie alle Orte in maximal 2h Fahrt zu erreichen. Und die Fahrt lohnt sich jedes Mal zu 100%. Zum Einkaufen und shoppen empfehle ich Chania, welches rund 45 min entfernt liegt. Dort gibt es alles was das Herz begehrt und ein Gang durch die schmalen Gassen mit mit kleinen Restaurants und Läden mit hangmdgefertigtem Schmuck und Souvenirs, machen das ganze nur noch lohnenswerter. Für wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge empfehlen sich elafonissi mit dem allseits bekannten pinken Strand oder Matala, welches ebenfalls einen schönen Strand, die Höhlen und ausgezeichnetes Essen bietet. Für den Nervenkitzel kann man dort auch aus einer Höhe von rund 8 Metern in das kristallklare Wasser eintauchen. Alles in allem ist kreta ein tolles Urlaubsziel, die Villa ein ausgezeichneter Ort zum Entspannen und Feiern und wir werden mitSicherheit die nächsten Jahre dort wieder unseren Urlaub verbringen.

We had a great stay in this lovely villa during mid May. The villa was clean and comfortable and has a great location with breathtaking views. The village has a friendly ex-pat community and Maddie’s is a must!
