“Good price but you pay for what you get”

“Beautiful pastoral, location, self service (no staff or registration), comfortable beds, very clean room and bathroom. Nice gathering space with coffee/tea available. We did experience quite a bit of noise from the guests (who arrived after midnight) directly above us and since we were the only two rooms (8 suites total available) I’m not sure why they had us together and not separated. Both the bathroom and closet doors did not fully close without slamming them forcefully.”

“The room: Was fairly clean, the bedding appeared fresh and the towels folded neatly. The bed was queen size, the frame was metal so unfortunately every little movement caused squeaking. Extra blankets were supplied. The bathroom had a claw foot tub, but no shelf nearby other than the window sill, so the soaps were lined up on that which made it difficult to fully close the window shade without fear of them falling off. It also made reaching them while showering difficult. The sink was a pedestal……

“Very clean, great location. Innkeeper was very friendly.”

“Beautifully and artistically constructed log cabin, very kind and welcoming owners.”

“Poor breakfast. Choices were instant oatmeal and cold cereal. Breakfast items were never restocked the 3 days we were there.”

“Interesting lodge. The room was basic, but fully functional. Check in was self serve, but the inn keeper kept in touch very well via text.”

“If you’re looking to stay near Rock City and Ruby Falls, then this location is worth a look. Overall, the room was cozy and clean. The bathroom could use a good remodeling and a better, as the ceiling had some moldy spots and there was hair in the floor. The property itself would benefit from some maintenance, but for the location, it’s not a bad stay.”
