「These lodges are all about the view! You just can't beat the view. Our first night there we saw otters. There are tons of song birds. The lidge had everything we needed and there was plenty of space for my family of 3. Everyone is quiet and respectful. Lodge 7 is the second to last lodge away from the hotel and the provacy was impeccably. My only complaint...I had to sleep on the couch because the mattress was hard as a rock. It felt like sleeping on a box spring with 0 cushion of flexibility...

「This has to be one of the best places for its views that I have been to. So quiet and peaceful, sun was out, absolutely breath taking! Lodge was spotless, spacious and would definitely come back. Well worth the money! 」

「Check-in is at the property which has a front desk. Check-in was seamless and quick. Go ahead and book dinner each day there because the restaurant is fantastic. Kitchen facilities in the cabins are very good. Full kitchen for whatever you want to do. They also have a washer/dryer unit. Doesn't dry so well as so many of these perform, but ok. 」

「This stay was the best we had in Scotland. Great location, excellent restaurant, easy to get around to everything in the area, nice hot tub to sooth sore muscles after hikes and Ben Nevis climb. Just a great experience. Very clean from top to bottom and comfortable beds. 」

「Very nice property. Beds were nice. Hosts had milk and coffee pods which was very nice. We stayed here to access Oban and the ferry to the Isle of Mull. We ate at the Taynuilt Inn the first night which was very good and close. They have done a nice job in this renovation. Bathroom was wellDone with a nice shower. 」

「A fantastic place to stay in the Fort William area. View from the living room towards Ben Nevis and over Loch Linnie towards Fort William was as good a view you will see any where. Hosts were great with clear communication. The annex itself had everything you would need during a break, and if it does’t have it you don’t need it. 」

「Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. The Village is well placed for access to the magnificent nearby scenery (but do not follow the receptionist recommendation as to how to get to the falls - the road is a nightmare and there is a longer but better way!).
