“Our family of 12 liked the layout of this home and the decor was lovely. The beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub as well. The home has some damage to the doors and walls, wear and tear and perhaps some of it due to remodeling upgrades. The home is lovely and met our needs for an enjoyable stay.”

The only thing I’d say (which isn’t even a negative) but didn’t impact negatively on our stay would be having it more secure to allow dogs to go out slide door within living room area to the back without worrying they’d wander off. Will definitely return. We had an amazing Christmas here and made wonderful memories.”

“The approach to the property alone sets the scene for an experience. The property is lovely with so much room and many amenities. The view across the loch was breathtaking. Lucky enough to see deer and seals from the bedroom windows. The house stayed warm through the storms which even for the area were pretty extreme according to the locals. Absolutely nothing requires complaint it was a brilliant property. Definitely great for hide and seek lol”

“This is an excellent house in a beautiful area. We had 15 guests ranging from 4 to 79 - the accommodation was perfect for all of our needs…it was warm, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a particular highlight. Gillian was approachable and helpful if needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and the area.”

Immaculate, roomy, with easy access to the roads to take our family of five on many hikes and adventures while having a cozy home base to return to when we were done with our day. “Wonderful location with outstanding views. The property is, however, very tired and dated - probably 80's. Fraying carpet, mouldy grouting in the bathroom, broken dishwasher, to name just a few things. Place needs a complete refurbishment- and more comfortable beds and bed linen.”
