“The vineyard and grounds are beautiful and well kept, and the local cat is very friendly, and greeted us when we arrived. While the kitchenette was small, it was useful. There is no longer a toaster oven, as the photo shows, but instead a separate toaster and a microwave. The pots and pans are stainless, and adequate for reheating and light cooking. The location is great! It's just a few minutes from some nice shops in Aptos Village, and Nisene Marks State Park, where we hiked a couple times.”

“It took a minute to adjust to the small size of the cabin; once we did, it was cozy and comfortable. The outdoor deck is great, with a couch and table, surrounded by huge trees and the sound of a creek bubbling over rocks. There is a full kitchen with a stove/oven, fridge/freezer, and hot water (that takes a few minutes to heat up). There are several cabins on the property, and doggies are welcome.”

The three levels of the property worked out great, since our group included multiple families from all across the U.S. Having separation with the three levels for sleeping and also communal places to gather, like the game room and living room, worked out great for our group. This beautiful, relaxing, and stunning carriage house is located north of the boardwalk and south of the surf museum and surfers coves. We spent the entire time walking leisurely along the promenade, loving every moment, preparing food from the sweet open kitchen. “Our second visit, this is a great spot. Grandparents and grandkids alike love it. Note to owners: a little maintenance work on front showerhead and replacing burnt out light bulbs in several rooms would give great bang for the buck. All told, those are minor inconveniences and this place is magical. The walk to the beach and around town is unbeatably convenient. “We loved our stay at the cottage! The house was immaculate and comfortable. I loved the thoughtful details like the record player with vintage albums (my daughter enjoyed playing them!), the shampoo and body wash in the shower, and the Nespresso pods. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nicely stocked. The location is very convenient for grocery shopping (nearby Whole Foods and Trader Joe's) and you're two minutes away from Pizza My Heart. Brayton was very responsive and helpful with……

“Lovely large grounds near an amazingly beautiful regional park with redwoods and many diverse microclimates. The bedrooms are small but adequate. The hot tub is a fabulous treat!”

“I loved the location and house. It was exactly ss described. I did the local history museum, the Wharf, and the Monterey Bay Natural Marine Sanctuary. Ate dinner at the Crows Nest 5 min away. Great view, okay food. So much I didn't see though. I only wish I could stay longer.”

“1. First things first, Teresa and Jule’s home was immaculate. Loved all of the art and the loft for the kids. Our daughter lived on the bean bag. 2. The home is so close to the beach you can hear and smell it. It’s amazing place to walk the dogs early in the morning. The kids loved it and we spent a lot of time just beachcombing and taking in the scenery. 3. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. We met some truly wonderful people. “Booking and checking in/out was incredibly simple, and the property was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Communicating with host was very easy and she was lovely.
