“We absolutely loved the property and cabin. Very relaxing. The only negative part out of our entire weekend was the beds were the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. We tried the pullout bed even but it was still hard as a rock just like the upstairs one. We would love to come back but hopefully there will be a different mattress available.”

“Stayed at this amazing updated lakefront cottage with my sister and niece for the Frankfort 70.3 Ironman race. Location could not be better. Cottage is updated and pictures are accurate. Host was VERY accommodating and great, very fast communication through the whole process. Comfortable beds. Kitchen had all the necessities to make this place your home. 10 stars all the way around. “We really enjoyed Betsie River Cabin, it was everything it advertised and more, we used the canoe and also kayaked the river. It was great to launch from the property! We had great campfires and played ping pong, the hot tub was great after a day on the river. The hosts are very gracious and thought of everything. We will probably return sometime!”

“We were very happy with this property. It has everything needed for a comfortable stay for 1-2 people. It is actually bigger than what might be initially perceived when you consider the foyer as a place to store things (eg luggage), the balcony with a grill and the community propery sitting areas. And despite it being a small place it is nicely decorated. If you don't require gathering space within the unit it is perfect for sleeping, preparing simple meals and as a home base for the area……

“Overall the home was very nice and cozy. Only issues were minor, some silverware had to be rewashed, personal communication was non-existant leaving it unclear how to ask questions for like finding extra blankets...which we never found. That said, we loved the place overall and would recommend to friends and family.”

We also enjoyed the use of the dog run so we could avoid chasing furry babes who may have wanted to wander into the woods. The house is not far from so many must-see northern towns and attractions.
