This large open light and bright, 2000 sq. ft. Oceanfront Beach House features spectacular views of Arch Cape, Castle Rock, Tillamook Head Lighthouse, Cannon Beach, Haystack Rock and Cape Falcon. Views, views and more views. Located at the south end of Falcon Cove Beach. Our beach house is a 5 minute walk down Tide Avenue to beach access. It has floor to ceiling windows with an open, bright and sunny, great room floor plan. There are ocean views from every window in this house. Nesting eagles can be seen near the southern tip of Falcon Cove where the cabin is located. A private location that is bright and sunny with a tree house feel. Falcon Cove Beach is also a designated Shoreside Marine Protected Sanctuary. Nestled in the forest of Oswald West State Park. We are justnorth of Short Sands camping sites and just 5 minutes from surfing at Oswald State Park. The Oregon Coast Trail takes you to Short Sand from Falcon Cove Road. There are many other trails are nearby.
This beach house is in secluded Falcon Cove between Cannon Beach and Manzanita, both 7 mi or 11 km away.
It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, Wi-Fi and landline phone. No TV screen so bring your laptop for streaming. Parking fits 4 cars. Very private on two large forested lots.
Sleeping accommodates 4 people. It has one double bed, two queen beds, one with a twin bunk above. Extra linens and new towels in the laundry room linen closet. Extra blankets and pillows in each closet. There are three new mattresses and mattress covers. New bed linens, new duvet and covers, new pillows, new blankets for each room. New paint and new washer and dryer, new refrigerator and new pots and pans and a new microwave. New AC Heat pump for heating and cooling and no more fossil fuels in this home.
There is a sunset viewing deck on the lower level with two side tables and four chairs. This quiet, peaceful retreat has a wood burning fireplace with wood provided. Enjoy our record player, bluetooth tuner, piano, books, games and puzzles. There is no TV. The dining table is large plus an extra folding table behind piano for crafts, games and puzzles. The large, open kitchen has all the necessary appliances, utensils, dinnerware and cookware. This includes a microwave, coffee maker and coffee grinder and toaster. Lots of dishware and utensils for dinners or cooking or baking. The First Aid Kit and Fire Extinguishers are in the kitchen and laundry room. For young children please bring a baby gate for stairway.
Sorry no dishwasher, no smoking inside, no TV and no pets allowed.

Kitchen was very well stocked. It could use more lighting overall, however. Very comfortable beds. Our host Tracey was very communicative when we were a bit confused by the combination lock on the door. The place has a rustic and beautiful feel to it, and you can see the waves coming in a hundred feet plus below through the living room and dining room. Our last day there it was raining pretty hard and we just stayed in and read and listened to music.

Perfect combination of beach and secluded forest.

The house and property and location are fantastic. The age and history of the house gives it its charm, and we were all pleasantly surprised how comfortable and appointed everything is. I can’t wait till the next time we return.

Forest Getaway on the shore

This property is tucked away in the trees and has ocean views. The indoor space was cozy with an indoor fire place and large windows for bird watching. For a space that allows for quiet and being close to nature, it was ideal.

Lovely Stay at Arch Cape

We had a great time at the Livermore. We appreciated the homey atmosphere and fireplace. Plenty of board games were available. Also, the kitchen was well provisioned! Beautiful views. The stereo (Bluetooth compatible) with lots of records was nice too.

Amazing ocean views

The views of the ocean were beautiful. The house had a very cozy feel especially with a fire going. Plenty of stocked firewood ready for use and the beds were super comfy. We will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect place to unplug and relax

We loved our stay in this rustic beach house. The setting is spectacular - quiet with gorgeous views through the trees, down to the ocean. We had the beach to ourselves most visits. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed and we loved having evening fires. The location between Cannon Beach and Manzanita was perfect for us, we enjoyed the hiking at nearby Oswald West State Park. We absolutely loved our stay at this property! The location was fantastic—close to everything we wanted to explore—and the views were simply stunning. Perfect Beach House!

Everything about this stay was great! The piano (which our son loved and played almost every moment we had free time), the views (we couldn’t get enough!), the history, the wildlife, and all of the details and pictures throughout the house!The beach walk was so fun as well, almost as if you have your own private beach! Very few people were down there every time we went for a swim. The roar of the ocean waves put us all to sleep very quickly after some long swims in the crisp ocean waters. We hope to be back in the future and make this a tradition as a family!Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Our favorite beach getaway

We absolutely love this property. The views are spectacular, and the house is quiet and secluded but still close to all the fun in Cannon Beach and Manzanita. The owners are great to work with and keep the house very clean. Also, the beds are very comfortable! We’ve stayed there three years in a row and plan to continue to visit every summer.

A True Gem

We've stayed in a few places on the Oregon Coast, but this was one we'll revisit again and again. Private and charming, this house felt like a family retreat. The thoughtful touches like split firewood, seafood utensils, clear instructions, and plentiful supplies gave us a worry-free stay that felt relaxing and comfortable. The floor-to-ceiling windows upstairs gave us unparalleled views while eating, cooking, and relaxing; and waking each morning to the sounds of waves and birds with trees out each window felt truly sublime.The only change we would've made would be to stay longer. Thank you Tracy and family for sharing your home with us. We hope to return soon.

Secluded and relaxing

We enjoyed our stay here. It felt secluded and hidden in the woods, yet close enough to Cannon Beach to enjoy doing tourist things like venturing out to HaystacknRock, examining tidal pools and the creatures that live in them. We particularly liked listening to records while enjoying a fire in the fireplace.

Cozy weekend

We loved watching the storms roll in from the big living room windows. The house was cozy and secluded. Everything we needed was in the house. Beds were comfortable. The owners clearly take time and care to keep the house tidy and functional. Although the fixtures are dated everything works perfectly and felt quaint and rustic. We enjoyed our stay with 3 kids (7, 12, 15). Easy drive to both Cannon Beach and Manzanita.

Long Weekend Getaway

Loved this location, nestled in the trees. Super cool cabin layout with awesome view. My husband and young daughter and I loved our time here and look forward to coming back. Proximity to beach is wonderful and you can hear the ocean while you sleep! Place was clean and with lots of amenities to support our stay and make it comfortable!
