“This a lovely chalet in a beautiful location....incredibly peaceful with fantastic views. It was more spacious than I expected from the photos and was very comfortable. The kitchen area is small and it would have been good to have bit more storage space for food. There's a great variety of walks in the surrounding area and I was happy to see otters nearby. ”

“We stayed at Cockleshell Lodge for 10 days in November and had a fabulous time. The lodge is right on the waters edge and we would have paid for the view alone. It is absolutely stunning. There are dog walks straight from the lodge and no need to get the car ut all around the Ballimore Estate and we met the "Lady of the House" who told us some interesting facts about the estate. “Stunning location for a relaxing holiday. Spent a week here with 2 children (ages 6 and 2) and had a great time. Safe outdoor space for the children to play in and they loved feeding the owner's chickens nearby. 5 minute walk to a pebbled beach which was ideal for tiring them out in the evening. Lots to do locally and further afield in Oban. The cabin is clean, with everything you would need for a weeks stay.”
