Casa Veronica
Stay in a beautiful restored cottage, deep in the heart of Transylvania. Enjoy the beauty and serenity of the village at the foot of the Carpathian mountains. Perfectly situated for mountain biking or trekking. Or simply stroll through the village and see the cows coming back from the pastures in the evening. Only 46 Km from gorgeous medieval city Sibiu (Hermannstadt). Sibiu has an international airport with direct flights from London, Munich, Vienna and other European cities.
The village is friendly and characterful. It has a few shops where food can be bought. Opportunity to obtain local produce from villagers (fresh eggs, organic gardens, local trout). Nearby Albota trout farm offers full meals at its restaurant, only about 4km from the house. Arpasu de Jos has a railway station with trains from Sibiu, Brasov, Bucharest. No public transportation, so please arrange your own transport. Parking space available at the house.
