Like at most HIE hotels it was a pleasant stay. The staff made the effort dressing up Halloween style today. That made breakfast feisty. Room and shower were great. Restaurant and breakfast functional and more than exceptional for those who don't want to go out.

Free parking is great albeit there are only a few prime spots at the front and the rest need to be better lit as the far corners in the dark rain with kids was not great. Room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious although by 10am it was just warm and not hot, which is not fair to those who pay the same price but have to come down later with children. Also, foyer has a weird old cigarette smell which was in our coats when we got home.
