From the warm and friendly welcome to the spotless room with really nice extra touches (bathrobes and slippers, tea and coffee, even a welcoming card and sweets), this was a great choice. The hotel is within walking distance of the centre of Arundel and the Castle and the provided parking spot made everything really simple. The breakfast included delicious home-made cakes, cereals, yoghurt and toast, all you need to set you up for the day. We’ve already booked our return visit.

We had a lovely weekend at Arden House. Lucie organised everything with so much attention to detail and care that being there felt like a cosy home. We even received a welcome card and chocolate Easter eggs every time the room was cleaned. The location was also great, just a five-minute walk from the castle. The rooms were spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend staying there!

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel; really enjoyed our stay. The room was excellent and had everything you could need. The breakfast was great and the hotel is well placed to enjoy the town, the castle and within easy reach of the cricket ground. Would definitely visit again.

Perfect, home-away-from-home stay

Really delightful home-away-from-home little hotel. Delightfully warm hosts, especially at breakfast, plus homemade lemon & blueberry cake (rather a yummy treat as I don't usually have cake for breakfast!). Clean, tidy, not too hot (lots of places I've stayed are a touch too warm for me). Happy to recommend to all-just goegeous!

Nicely furnished, spacious, clean, comfortable double room. There were two bay windows that made it nice and bright though would be good to have black out curtains for the morning sun Delicious continental breakfast with cereal, fresh fruit and croissants.

Nice B&B in old village house

Nice little B&B close to centre of the village and running trails. Lucie sent the access codes to the front door and room making the check-in a breeze. It was a bit chilly during the first night (central heating off at night), but Lucie provided a portable radiator and extra blanket, so the 2nd night was warm and cosy. Very clean room and comfy bed. Also the breakfast was great.

A Perfect Birthday Surprise – Thoughtful and Welcoming Stay I booked Arden House as a surprise birthday treat for my sister, who is currently going through house renovations, so she really needed a relaxing break away. It turned out to be absolutely perfect. Communication from the host was exceptional from the start. I was able to reserve parking in advance, and they were so warm and welcoming when she arrived. They really made her birthday feel special. The Superior room was bright, spacious and spotlessly clean, with beautiful natural light from the large windows. There were such thoughtful touches waiting for her, including a handwritten birthday card, sweet treats, a fruit bowl, plush towels and dressing gowns neatly prepared on the bed. It felt personal and genuinely caring. The location is excellent for exploring Arundel, and breakfast was very good as well. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend Arden House. A lovely, friendly place that goes the extra mile

We stayed in the room with a double-bed, and it was really a lovely experience! Arden House is very well maintained and the bathroom and room facilities were very modern. Arundel is quite small so you're only minutes away from everything. The host, Lucie, was very kind and asked if we have everything we need as soon as we got our room. They also allowed us to leave our luggage at the property earlier in the day, as we arrived before the check in time. The room included: new slippers, shower gels, towels, tea and biscuits. Would definitely recommend Arden House to anyone visiting Arundel.

This was our first time visiting Arden House and we are so glad we went. Lucie was a fantastic host and gave us a lovely welcome. We stayed at room 3 on the ground at the back of the property, and the room was brilliant. It was immaculately clean, bright and airy with two lovely big bay windows. It had a great en-suite toilet, basin and shower with towels, complimentary shower gel, slippers and dressing gown. There was tea and coffee making facilities/kettle cups etc. and two bottles of water and glasses which was a real bonus during the night. The entire house was really lovely and big, as was the dining room. Breakfast was a huge spread of a number of different fruit, cereals, nuts, yoghurts, oats, homemade cake, orange and cranberry juice, James, peanut butter, marmite, babybel cheeses and Luice made us a boiled egg and toast, with freshly made cafetiere coffee and tea to drink. Free off road parking, free wi-fi, a TV (which we didn't need as we were out so much), a large electric fan in the room and a hairdryer, two chairs and foot rest. We highly recommend this B&B for a great stay, so close to the centre of town and the castle. Brilliant value for money and we would definitely go back again. Thank you Lucie, I'm sure we will be back again
