“It's a decent place to stay. The building is modern, clean, and suite is well equipped. A few minor grips. 6 soft low quality pillows does not substitute for 1 good firm pillow! The neighborhood is safe, but as is the case in many US suburbs/exurbs it's not really walkable. There are areas where the sidewalks just end, and they are not well lit at night, say if you are walking to supermarket. The building gym, looks great but the equipment eg. the elliptical trainers are poor quality glitchy.”

“We chose the Dome for our week long stay due to it's proximity to the state parks in northern Virginia, AND we'd choose to stay her again. We visited several new establishments, breweries, distilleries, and restaurants that have popped up or have missed since moving to central Virginia. We were out of the house everyday and then most nights came back and turned in for the evening. We couldn't zone out in front of the TV on the main living area because there isn't one. “This place could use some significant maintenance, but was fine for us; I can see why some people were less than thrilled with the facility. We took a gamble, and it was ok. Some things that stick in my memory: Of the two smoke detectors, the upstairs unit was missing from its mounting bracket and the downstairs unit had no batteries. “I had an excellent stay with my service animal, the staff was friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms are clean and the beds were comfortable. The two things I want to mention is, you will have to pay for parking which was no big deal at $10 a night and in the evening there is no employee covering the front desk you will have to get someone from the Embassy Suites which is connected to the hotel. I say staying at the Homewood Suites is a good option.”
