“It was all so simple, the code was sent through via email for the lock box which contained a fob to get in the main door and key for the bedroom door. Claire was very helpful when we arrived. The rooms are lovely and spacious, comfy bed too! Breakfast was a continental spread and lovely start to the morning, the staff member was very courteous and friendly. “I recently stayed at Shenandoah House while visiting family nearby, and chose it because it was pet-friendly and had such excellent reviews. I’m so glad I did. From the moment we arrived, we received a genuinely warm welcome from Jim, who immediately made friends with our dog. The room was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully set up. “The hotel is in a great location in Hastings Old Town close to shops and restaurants. The room was spacious, v. comfortable and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful, including Porters next door (good wine bar/restaurant associated with the hotel). It’s a remote check in/check out but we were sent clear instructions ahead of the booking with a contact host to call when we arrived. Breakfast is also really good with full, vegetarian, and non vegan options. Can’t fault our stay at all,……

“This is the by far the best guest house I have ever stayed in. Ian & Fiona are so welcoming and friendly. The house is in an ideal location and is peacefully quiet, also with on site parking behind an electronic gate. I will definitely stay again next time I'm in the area.”

“Super friendly staff who were easy to converse with, the inn was well maintained with vintage roots and a splash off modern. The food was excellent. On the listing it does say they have laundry facilities, but after asking it turns out they don’t. So be aware if that is a need. I would surely go back again if I am in the area!”
