It was family trip with my wife and daughter. Fast check in. Location is good. Quite at night and Breakfast was good too.

Great staff but hard to sleep

Good location and clean, comfortable beds. Service of checkin staff was great. They were helpful and friendly. However the carpet near our fridge was wet when we arrived and the air conditioner was loud and didn’t cool the room so none of us slept well.

Liked the location & price was very reasonable - staff was helpful in these woeful days of COVID-19. Only complaint was that the wi-fi did not work at all during our stay.

streets were under construction when we stayed, so it was noisy during the day and parking was a problem. but spent $300 to stay in a motel like place was still out of my expectation although I was told it was expensive in Aspen. the room was on the 1st floor facing a street, with very strong disinfectant smell. The front desk was friendly, trying to find me another room but seemed it was all booked out.

Disappointed in the condition of the property and the room. carpet had wear and tear, tub did not drain, bed mattress was uneven and uncomfortable.

The rooms were really old and had a run down feeling. The rugs were visibly dirty, the towels were cleaned, but had stains, and there was no clear statement (that I saw) that there is no elevator. The fireplace suites are not worth the extra cost-- the couches are old and discolored, and the fireplace was a stove- no instructions on how to use, etc. I was disappointed.

Great Location and Friendly Accommodating staff!!

We have stayed here many times over the years. Great location for access to bike riding trails and walkable to downtown. Nice courtyard outdoor pool area for relaxing. Friendly and accommodating staff!

Hotel Carmel was located in a beautiful setting in Aspen . Unfortunately there was a lot of construction going on in front of the hotel but it was convenient to most shops and restaurants despite the sidewalk closure . Our room was super clean as was the bathroom although the bathroom was so small , you could barely get in it . The shower was great ! The hotel staff was very friendly and the breakfast had many options and was enjoyable . For almost $400 a night this hotel seemed overpriced but we did realize we were in Aspen .

Exelente ubicación, pero le falta mantenimiento.

El hotel esta super bien ubicado y los cuartos están razonablemente bien de acuerdo a Precio - Calidad - Ubicacion. El tema fue que el aire acondicionado no funcionaba y no había manera de cambiarnos de cuarto.Tuvimos que dormir con la puerta del cuarto abierta para mas o menos ventilarnos, hacia muchísimo calor por la época del año.

This is an old hotel that has not been remodeled. They have attempted to bring it up to current American traveler expectations with regards to expected basic amenities and offer a friendly breakfast. But, it has old carpeting, furniture, draperies and bathroom. Stay was fine for one night, but wouldn’t want to extend any longer.

This hotel was really over-priced for a hotel from the 1970’s. The carpet desperately needed to be replaced. There were broken floor tiles in the bathroom. The kitchenette sink was so small it was ridiculous. Save your money and stay elsewhere!

Great option in Aspen

The check in was easy and quick. A little more info around breakfast and other amenities would be helpful to know upon check in. The breakfast had a lot of options, including fresh berries, a breakfast burrito and waffles. The pool was refreshing and clean. The rooms are a little dated but overall comfortable. It’s a little outside of the downtown area but still very walkable. We would stay here again!

The staff at the property were 5 Star Fabulous. Every single person working the front desk were completelt accomodating and went the extra mile to provide me with everything i needed and then some. Had a wonderful experience. Thank you !!

Great location for exploring the city. Room was worn down and dirty ... this photo shows the lobby but not the look of the full complex. Exterior and interior of rooms are older. Lighting in room was dim and a/c didn't work well (probably not an issue most days, but would have been appreciated during this time frame).
