The cottage is located in close proximity (less than 500 meters) of the forest of S. Francis, site of the FAI (Italian Environmental Fund), an ideal place for walking and hiking in the great outdoors. The Basilica of San Francesco is about 1.8 km.
Assisi, birthplace of St. Francis and St. Clare, where he began the modern art with frescoes by Giotto and Cimabue, is located in the center of Umbria, from which you can reach all the major art cities of Umbria (Perugia, Bevagna, Spello, Spoleto, Todi, Orvieto, Gubbio etc.)
The cottage, stone typical of the place, has a large kitchen with fireplace, which is accessed via a porch or a veranda which has stunning views of the Rocca Maggiore Assisi.
Continuing a large room with pellet fireplace welcomes you to the rooms.
The cottage has a total of 5 double / twin rooms all with private bath and shower.
The dining room leads to the upper floor and the rooms on the ground floor via a spiral staircase. The ground floor rooms are all accessible directly from outside.
There is however the possibility of an internal lift for any particular mobility needs.
The cottage is accessed through entrance with automatic gate.
The outdoor courtyard with swimming pool, games for children and relaxation area is ideal to enjoy the view on the rock more of Assisi and the glimpse on the North side of the Basilica of San Francesco.
A barbecue equipped for cooking on the grill is located outside the kitchen.
Ideal for holidays with friends and family groups (also 3 families with 2 children each).
