Perched on a wooded ridgetop, this spacious, Amish built cabin is the ideal place to sit back and relax. With a large covered porch on the front, overlooking the hillside and hills beyond, the scenery is sure to inspire.
This cabin is also at the epicenter of the Hocking Hills region and all that it has to offer!

- Looking for more scenery and hiking? 17 miles to Ash Cave / 12 miles to the famous Uncle Buck's Riding Stable and Dance Barn
- Have a passion for boating, fishing, or swimming? 7 miles to Lake Hope State Park and Adventure Pro Canoe Livery
- Adventure seeker? 17 miles to R Adventure Park / 20 miles to Hocking Hills Canopy Tours
- History lover? 6.5 miles to historic Nelsonville, OH (Home of Hocking Valley Scenic Railway and Rocky Boot)
- Love the night life or unique cuisine? 16 miles to Athens, home of Ohio University, 7 miles to a Sunday brunch to die for at Lake Hope Lodge.

**Driveway is gravel and is suitable for most, but not all 2 wheel drive vehicles. 4 wheel drive is necessary in Winter and early Spring months.

Great location and lovely house! Wehad 6 adults, one kid, and one dog and the place was wonderful. We spent a ton of time on the large deck enjoying the weather and views. It was nice that it was covered, because even with some drizzle we could be outside and in the hot tub without getting wet. The deck has a gate so that dogs are contained in that area, but then to get to the fenced yard you must go inside and through the rear 1st floor bedroom. The fenced yard area was pretty small but did the job in terms of my brother being able to let the pup out without a leash, and it was great that the deck was also gated and there was a gate to keep the dog up or downstairs. The house had everything we needed and was very cute and comfortable! It was about a 20-25 minute drive to the big Hocking Hills attractions (Old Mans Cave etc) but that wasn't an issue for us. Really enjoyed the scenery and solitude!

Pet friendly, but the kitchen was pretty dirty upon check in, particularly the fridge and sink. All of the furniture was very uncomfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. The space was perfect for our family. Our dog was able to go right out the bedroom door into a secure area. We went exploring at Ash Cave-Cedar Falls.. stopped at the frozen yogurt shop and pizza crossing. Both were good. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. We had a fire out at the fire pit (we left some wood for the next person) and made hot dogs. We always bring games to play but there are some there, stored downstairs in the table- I didn’t realize it until the day we were leaving. It’s nice to get away, disconnect with wifi and just enjoy your family and the surroundings. I would recommend a stay here! The only things I’d suggest based upon staying at other cabins:Aluminum foil, storage containers (clearly labeled they are to be washed, remain there). The less you have to bring the better (for us anyways) especially because it was a 4hr drive. Thanks again!

Everything was clean and comfortable, we had a fun stay and enjoyed using the hot tub, fire pit and charcoal grill. Unfortunately we had to buy our own dish soap and dishwasher detergent as none were provided that we could find.

We really enjoyed our stay, there was a little fenced in pet area right off the main floor bedroom which was perfect. The hot tub was warmed up and ready upon arrival, the deck was the best spot to relax and unwind. I would absolutely recommend this place if you're looking for a great place to unplug and reconnect with friends and family!

Good overall. Some of the curtain rods need repair. Fenced yard does have some holes that smaller dogs can get through. One of ours managed to get out. Fortunately she didn’t venture far.

Nice cabin, good location. Had everything needed for the most part. A mop or swifter would have been nice to do a quick clean of floors especially since we had rainy weather. The dust pan for broom is worthless.

Moms and Kids Spring Break

We came to Nelsonville to check out Hocking Hills. We were happy with the cabin, especially the secluded property. The fenced in area was great for our dog. The bedrooms were all comfortable and the amenities made it feel like home. The only thing this group of moms would have liked was a better internet connection to keep the kids busy at night lol. Overall would recommend this cabin to others!
