“Charming B&B! Area is lovely (although it was raining during our stay so we didn’t get as much of a chance to enjoy the location as we would have liked… but it IS breathtaking.) On the bay, lovely walk to town … couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful spot! Hosts are wonderful people … homemade bread and jams, fruit, yogurt and assorted cereals for breakfast… would recommend Dovecote to everyone!”

“ Have stayed before and, as always, rooms were comfortable, bathrooms luxurious and area very safe and quiet. Close to dining options and can easily take public transport into the city from the end of Kohi Road. Good value and very clean and beautiful house.”

“Location great, cleanliness great, provisions great, access great, nothing about the property could be faulted. Property owner was well prepared and friendly when we arrived, communication before arrival was excellent. The only (very very minor) request for improvement would be a light on the sign on the road, we returned at night and struggled to locate the entrance confidently in the dark. Noting this did not detract from the stay in the slightest.”

“We liked how the property was within an easy walking distance to Howick Village and Howick Beach. Host Steve was super responsive, welcomed us when we arrived and prepared wine, fruits, cereal and milk for us. He also lets us use the washing machine and hang laundry. The independent studio is accessed through the main house so we had to carry all of our stuff through his house. Steve said we could use his main kitchen but we were ok with the kettle and utensils that he prepared for us, so we……

“The owner is called Chris who knew how to respect me, my wife and my son. He told me the true how to be realistic to/not to go to South Island without enough time to travel there from North to South and transportation.”

Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und das Bett super bequem. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder hinfahren. Die Umgebung war eine schöne Nachbarschaft, ca 15 minuten zu Fuß ist ein Einkaufscenter inklusive Supermarkt.”
