「Charming B&B! Area is lovely (although it was raining during our stay so we didn’t get as much of a chance to enjoy the location as we would have liked… but it IS breathtaking.) On the bay, lovely walk to town … couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful spot! Hosts are wonderful people … homemade bread and jams, fruit, yogurt and assorted cereals for breakfast… would recommend Dovecote to everyone!」

The owners make sure you get a great car park out front and the area aside from the beautiful beach has a bunch of scenic walks. 「Location great, cleanliness great, provisions great, access great, nothing about the property could be faulted. Property owner was well prepared and friendly when we arrived, communication before arrival was excellent. The only (very very minor) request for improvement would be a light on the sign on the road, we returned at night and struggled to locate the entrance confidently in the dark. Noting this did not detract from the stay in the slightest.」

「We liked how the property was within an easy walking distance to Howick Village and Howick Beach. Host Steve was super responsive, welcomed us when we arrived and prepared wine, fruits, cereal and milk for us. He also lets us use the washing machine and hang laundry. The cabin offers a basic accommodation in the most cozy and comfortable way, it’s very cheerful, clean and welcoming.
