“The front desk did not inform us about other amenities such as free breakfast or Wi-Fi until asked for. Upon arriving in our room, we were greeted by a roach. After complaining and switching rooms, there was no roach, but the fridge was stained with food stains and looked like it wasn’t cleaned for a while. “Staff is terrible. The front desk girl was so rude and not helpful at all. They tried giving me a FILTHY room and when I said no thank you just give me a refund they gaslit me and said I was lying about the condition of the room. I had to dispute my charges”

“There were no blankets on the bed. Only a sheet and a thin spread on top. I asked at the front desk for one, she looked and came back and said there were none. I ended up going into my car and using my camping blanket. The towels were thin and scratchy, something I would use to wash my car. I don't expect luxury when I stay at a hotel, but this was way subpar.”

“My stay at Tru by Hilton was unfortunately disappointing overall. The biggest issue was cleanliness. The bathroom was clearly not cleaned thoroughly before my arrival — there was hair throughout the shower and corners, grime buildup, cobwebs, marks on the bathroom walls, and the toilet itself appeared visibly dirty and unsanitary.
