“Check in went really well.The rooms were much darker than anticipated. The pictures online looked much brighter. The furniture needs a some TLC--a lot of chipped paint, torn back rest on the couch, well-loved "sitting spots" on the couches. Stains on the carpet areas.It was a clean place but for what we paid per night, I kinda expected a little higher quality details.Host interaction was very prompt, expectations well laid out. “Our family is spread over the Chicagoland area and this was a very central location to Downtown and various burbs for us. Property is well kept. Minor upkeep needs did not overshadow the great layout, condition, and comfort of this home. The rooms were comfortable, and we loved both the basement rec area and the outdoor patio. The fenced in back yard was a HUGE bonus for our dogs. And above all, the owners were AMAZINGLY responsive and helpful. We will definitely seek out this property next time……
