"My daughter and I loved our stay. The rooms are bright, spacious, clean and pet friendly, although we didn't bring a pet. The location is excellent to experience the charm of downtown Santa Rosa within walking distance. You have to manage the parking but there's a loading area and street parking nearby and limited paid parking available."

"I really loved our stay at The Hotel Dega. It’s newly purchased and recently reopened so I’m hoping minor changes are still in process for the property. The check in process was a little different with everything being online. Not at all bad, just different. The gentleman working was very helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean, since everything was newly remodeled. The finishing touches may need to be done still like painting the baseboards. Again not horrible, but I hope continued maintenance and service will be in place. I was very surprised that there was not A/C or some sort of cooling system in the room. Our room did not have a screen on the sliding glass door, and that made it difficult to cool off, because we did not want bugs to fly into the room. Maybe a fan or ceiling fan could be provided in the summer months. Having a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room was perfect. The decor was beautiful and tasteful. All in all it was really nice. I will definitely be back, and hope that the owners will keep putting money back into the property so it can become a favorite for people like me who come to Bodega Bay a couple times per year."
