It was a nice hotel in a perfect location to get out and walk around Austin. The hotel itself had some maintenance issues, but it was it wasn’t a big deal. Breakfast area was impressive, and the pool was nice.

The hotel is in a convenient location. The first room we were in was warm even though we dropped the temperature. It just didn’t cool off. Asked to be switched to another room and the hotel staff was quick in responding and moved us. The new room was great until the morning we woke up and there was a puddle of water soaked in the carpet in the bathroom entrance.

Overall, our stay was okay. The hotel itself was nice and we didn’t have any major problems, but there were a few things that could definitely be improved. The bed was VERY squeaky and made a lot of noise anytime we moved, which was pretty annoying. Breakfast, drinks, and snacks were also insanely expensive for what you get. When we first arrived, the girl at the front desk wasn’t very helpful and seemed unsure of what she was doing, which made check-in a little frustrating. However, the Latino gentlemen who helped us afterward were AMAZING! They were super helpful, polite, attentive, and made us feel very welcomed. They definitely made our experience better. Besides those things, everything else was good and we enjoyed our stay overall.

Property and staff were good. Only surprise was the valet parking not specified while booking. Had $70 valet parking or was told by valet I could park on the side of the road…Mind you where there are a lot of homeless people and no security so I felt I was forced to pay valet parking

When we first landed, our key fob wasn’t working. Went downstairs back and forth getting a new key to only find out that the door lock was dead. Staff was great though in helping us through the process. Just be aware the rooms don’t have running ac, it’s a blowing fan, we set it at 60 and felt humid and sticky in the extreme Austin heat.

We love this hotel and have stayed for several years. Unfortunately, taller towers are being built all around so the view is disappearing. We still love the location and it is a classy place.
