Accommodations were exactly as advertised. The house was clean and comfortable; and the location to Barton Springs and Zilker Park were perfect. Having parking included in the stay is a HUGE plus!

Although the code to access the room didn't initially work, they were quick with providing a new one. The neighborhood is very nice and super close to downtown and Zilker Park which was perfect for our holiday plans. Definitely recommend this property for a small family, couple or afew group of friends. Only recommendation is providing a broom and dust pan to help keep floors clean during our stay.

While the location of the booking was amazing and the communication with staff was great, my overall experience was poor. The unit was not entirely clean upon arrival, the toilet handle was broken and bathroom sink handle was faulty, the unit had an odor, and I found a cockroach.

Awesome stay

I had been searching everywhere for a place to stay that was affordable and in a good area. I had almost given up hope and found this awesome little place! My husband and I walked up to the market at night and felt completely safe I walked to Zilker park by myself and had no trouble. There was also a water filter provided which was much appreciated. It was a convenient drive to get to everywhere we needed to that weekend. If I come to Austin again I'm booking through AustinVacays again :)

Short vacation in Austin

The property was as advertised, and good value for the cost. This studio is in a quiet, residential neighborhood very close to Zilker Park. Access to the unit was easy, and it was clean and well stocked. In addition to the usual consumables, it was also stocked with salt, sugar, coffee, etc. No dishwasher, and the AC unit was a little loud. Overall a good place to stay. One drawback is that it is not within walking distance of the popular areas such as downtown, SoCo and Sixth & Rainey Streets. We had to Uber to these locations each day of our stay, and the costs added up. It would have been beneficial to have an automobile.

Our car got wrongfully towed. Drawers missing handles. Stray cats constantly trying to run into the unit when you open the door. Airbnb host didn’t care to assist with the towing of our car. Tried to blame the towing company when clearly they don’t choose which cars they tow: never staying again. Wouldn’t reccomend:

Our stay at HC #102 in Austin

Excellent small place in Austin, right by the park so we were able to walk there every evening. Full size fridge with freezer, stove, no dishwasher so we just hand washed the few glasses that we used. A washer and dryer in the common area but we did not use it. Very close to restaurants and Peter Pan Mini-Golf. Best BBQ nearby was the Terry Black's BBQ, close to the golf. Also went to the Still Austin Whiskey Co. for a very inexpensive tasting. Stopped by The Austin Winery, nice for tastings, made in the building using natural fermenting methods. Went to the Zilker Botanical Garden, which also had nice light displays and evening events. Stopped at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center which was excellent. Also HC#102 is close to the river in the Zilker park so hundreds of people were renting kayaks and on the water. Overall, very good location!

5 stars except the LOUD A/C

I, personally, have minimal issues with this property. My spouse, however, kept waking up when the AC compressor would kick on. Finding alternative locations to stay near downtown Austin the day of a vacation is very difficult, so we had to just deal with the "tired headaches" during our rare days off. Neither of us were in the best of moods for this trip. Property manager was unable to repair the AC himself. Maintenance never showed. No more wall unit AC equipped properties for me.

It was ok.

The place had an odor of wet clothes left behind in the washer. The restroom faucet was broken. It would come apart when I would maneuver it to either cold or hot water. The base was full of a white/green gunk/residue. The bed was quite noisy. Every time I would move it would make a noise. The sofa was not clean. It also had a funny odor. The sofa pictured was not the same as in the apartment. One of the kitchen drawers was broken. The drawers would not close all the way. The place was alright overall. I would not stay there again.
