Great Stay

We had a quick over night trip. The stay was pleasant and we felt welcomed. The apartment was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was quiet and close to where we needed to be. The owner was very communicative with everything we needed to know, which was helpful.

Fun Memorial Day weekend

My husband and I stayed here with another couple for Memorial weekend and we had an awesome time! Our hosts were accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for our trip. The best part about the house was the location! It was so close to everything we wanted to do but the neighborhood was still cozy and quiet when we wanted to relax. Would definitely stay again!

Quick Spring Break

The property was exactly as advertised. This is a small apartment located right off of South Lamar. It is very close to downtown and Zilker park. We were able to go to Barton springs and enjoy the water even if it was a little cold. This is a great spot for anyone looking for a quick, affordable getaway. It is not a big rental built for entertaining, but rather a cozy apartment for easy access to Austin.

Clean and Soft Sheets

Logistics were so easy with this home. Easy to use, easy to find, easy parking. The home was sparkling clean with super soft sheets! Some missing amenities such as a keurig, nice shampoo & soap, water bottles, stained chairs/shower curtain and finer touches led to the 4 star instead of 5 star rating. Wouldn't mind staying there again if those items were fixed.

Great location

We had trouble getting in and had to call the management company late at night to get a code that worked. Brandon was very pleasant and helpful and after that the door worked fine. It was an easy commute to the airport, Zilker Park, downtown and shopping. We also had a short walk to Snooze for brunch. It would be nice to have some sort of dresser in each bedroom. Overall the accomodations are nice and we would stay again.

3 day stay for a grandson’s graduation.

The unit was very clean. It is an older property. The small backyard has overgrown weeds, that needs some work. The bed was very comfortable. However the fitted sheet is not big enough and slipped off We were not able to put it back on around the corners. Loved having coffee in the kitchen and plenty of nice towels. The tub should have a grab bar. It was slippery.

We picked this mostly for its central location and relatively low price during a holiday week, but I should have reminded myself that you get what you pay for. (My husband came a few days ahead of me and stayed in a pet-friendly high rise condo right on Cesar Chavez, with a gorgeous view, which was in better shape and cheaper than this, though.)Overall it was fine for a few nights but badly needs new baseboards and fresh paint, and a deep clean. Also the remote was missing the volume button so we couldn’t adjust the volume on the TV at all. Otherwise, it was fine and we were glad we could have our dog with us. We did like being in walking distance of restaurants and coffee shops.

I’ll start with the positives. Great location, clean linens, and good space. However, the pictures in the listing do not reflect the current condition of the apartment. It felt tired. Closet and cabinet doors needed repair and many layers of paint are peeling off the walls and baseboards.
