Zilker park and Barton Springs Pool in walking distance

This is a good property to stay at. Great view from the upstairs patio and plenty of sleeping space. The proximity to Zilker Park and Barton springs pool is great. I would stay here again.

Great stay!

The house was perfect for us. Would definitely stay again. Great location with easy access to Zilker Park, downtown, and south congress areas. Only negative was the upstairs toilet took an eternity to refill.

Great visit in Austin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We had a problem with the upstairs toilet, but reported it, and it was resolved very quickly! We enjoyed the location as we found good food and parks and gardens very close by. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome location that feels private

Loved the space the condo felt like it was isolated even though it was part of a larger complex in a bigger city which was great. Zilker park almost right below you and only 10 minutes to most of downtown. Super great - would totally stay again!

We had a great time staying at this house for our trip to Austin City Limits! It was such a quick and easy walk to the park. Although the place did not go above and beyond or exceed our expectations, it was just what we needed for the weekend. Spacious and easy parking was a plus.

Family on a budget

Overall the property and stay was great for a family on a budget, just what we were looking for. It’s within walking distance of Barton Springs and a very safe neighborhood. The view is great, but way more stairs than I anticipated to get to the house. Also parking is included which was a plus.

Spacious apartment in excellent location in Austin!

This apartment was perfect for our family of 6. Easy walk to hike & bike trail, Barton Springs, and a short drive to other parts of central Austin. The kitchen & bathrooms were well supplied. I hope to stay again on future trips.

What a disappointment! The photos in the listing were quite nice and it appeared to be comfortable, it is not. When we entered the house it was obvious no one had cared for this place in a very long time. The carpet was disgusting, stained, torn, and crunched underfoot. There were holes in the walls and in the drapes. Much of the furniture was in a state of disrepair, the living room chair had a broken leg ( not usable ), and the beds screeched with every move, making it difficult to sleep. The towels were tacky, something appeared to be growing around the vent in the bathroom and all the air vents had debris hanging from them. We tried to find another place to stay however with the big-ticket events happening that weekend we had no other option. Every time we walked into this place we felt gross and were filled with disappointment.

Overall my trip was good. I had no major issues and was comfortable the whole time. Booking with Jon was easy and he was very responsive to any questions I had, and he made sure to check in with me during the stay. Some comments on the representation of the apartment: + The Airbnb posting says 4 beds and sleeps 8. In reality: there are 2 bedrooms total, 1 king bed each. There's a day bed with a pull-out mattress in one of the bedrooms that already has a king bed. Not ideal for more than 3-4 people, I would say, definitely not if you're looking for privacy. + Some things did not look the same as the luxurious posted pictures... carpets, window shades, parts of bathroom and kitchen were a bit dingier than the photos show. The area is not sunny, and is actually part of an apartment complex, so there's mostly shade. These things didn't really affect my trip - I was very happy with the hosts, and ended up with only 2 guests at the house. Just posting this for those people booking for larger groups. March 2019

Great Location to Restaurants and Parks

Loved the balcony but only access through master bedroom. Affordable. Tough stairs to climb to enter property. Adjacent to beautiful neighborhood and Barton Springs. Very comfortable.
