We enjoyed both indoor activities in the game room and large gathering space/kitchen and outdoor activities sitting by the lake and kayaking. The house was updated and very comfortable."

"We were looking for somewhere to stay to see the eclipse and this house turned out to be perfect. Sylvan Beach is a great little town and better yet, the restaurants, beach, etc. was all within walking distance of this house. Sal was great about communicating and offered to let us in a few hours before the typical check-in time which was really nice of him. We didn't really cook but the kitchen table was great for puzzles which reminds me that Sal had games and puzzles at the house if you forget...

"This house consisted of two separate apartments which worked out great for us. Two kitchens, two laundy rooms - snorer on one side, which we didnt hear on our side. Imagine the benefits to this - under one roof but privacy"

"One of the best rental houses our family has stayed in! Very spacious and well designed indoor space, very clean, and for my legally blind husband - the best lighting we’ve encountered! The kids enjoyed playing on the big lawn and walking along the river (except the flies!). It is a peaceful area outside town but we found great restaurants not too far away and we enjoyed seeing so many more stars at night. The WiFi was the only challenge - too slow for our teens or to load video but the signal...

"We loved the property and once we got sorted out about being able to bring our dogs everything was great. The area is lovely and the fenced yard was a plus. The house was comfortably furnished and well stocked. Eclipse day was cloudy but we were able to get views from the back yard. We used extra days to explore some natural areas, awesome and I got to hang out with both my sons and DIL in a roomy house on a beautiful lake."
