“Very clean, ranch style, cozy place. Owner thought of everything a guest would need. Readers, books, games, plenty of towels, blankets etc. Loved it. Owner checked in on us since there was a storm that Sunday. That was a nice touch.”

“The host and her family were very hospitable. The cabin was so neat, cleaned and organized. The cabin matched the scenery in the area. I will be visiting again!”

“Enjoyed the inside and outdoor atmosphere so much. We had a fire in the fire pit while we played music at night. Cabin was so close to Avery Island and Jefferson Island, the places we wanted to visit. Weather was perfect the entire time we were there. Explored small towns around us and went into New Iberia as well. One suggestion would be to have recliners or ottomans for us seniors! Loved it overall!”

“Came for a baby shower with my daughter and granddaughter. We had so much more room in the townhouse than staying in a hotel.”

“Legit 3 bedroom/2 bath house. Well stocked with dishes/utensils/grills/boiling pots etc. The screened front and back porch were our favorite places - north wind one evening made north side a little cool. House is (of course) elevated with very relaxing views of the marsh/Vermillion Bay on north-west side or the woods on the other side. Nice trees with lots of Spanish moss added to it all. Very peaceful and restful for my wife and me. Mosquito repellent is a necessity once outside the screen……

“This was perfect for a much needed getaway/work weekend. My wife and I are business owners and we needed some quiet time to catch up on work. We were able to take a nice evening ride down the Petite Anse Canal with the kayak provided. We would definitely book this trip again in the future.”

“As advertised. Comfortable with plenty of room in a quiet neighborhood. The pool was a nice addition. It was a little chilly to swim but we had a picnic lunch on the deck. Our daughter and her kids were staying at a nearby RV park and came over several times. Only negative was the playhouse that was in poor condition and maybe a bit unsafe. I would recommend fixing or removing it.”

“We were greeted with a fresh batch of homemade chocolate chip cookies and 2 vases of freshly picked flowers from the property. The property was very cleaned, well stocked and decorated cute. It is located very close to EVERYTHING and we definitely stay here again if ever we come back. We had a small issue with the wi-fi. The owner lives on the property and the issue was immediately taken care of. GREAT stay!! ❤️”

“This house was perfect for our family of five adults. Very unique rooms with comfy beds and soft linens. Lots of little extras that you don’t see from other owners. The back yard has a huge privacy fence, a nice fire pit, even tiki torches- all combined it made for perfect evenings sitting outside visiting. We hope this is available on our next visit to New Iberia. :)”
