"This accommodation absolutely blew us away with its beauty, romance and location! It sits in a peaceful rural area next to a beautiful fig grove, and every morning the goat herd brings his flock past the house. It is on a no-through track so there is no passing traffic. "We recently stayed at Estrellas de Gredos and were really disappointed. The place has stunning mountain views and a traditional curved ceiling, but a lot of things went wrong. The biggest issue was a broken sliding door that wouldn’t lock. When we told the staff, they showed up unannounced at 22:00 and just said it was safe to leave it unlocked, which didn't sit right with us.
The inside felt cheap too. The kitchen had flimsy Ikea stuff that looked like it could fall apart any minute. The...
