"Room was clean, I was really impressed by the smell in the hallway, breakfast was delicious and I like the fact that it was available until 10:00, the guy that checked me in was very polite and really nice, staff was super friendly, the indoor pool and hot tub was my son’s favorite! Really enjoyed our stay!"

"The hotel is nice. The common areas are clean. However I was on the third floor and my toilet didn’t flush and I had to use the bathroom on the 1st floor common area. Another room was not offered. I reported it 3 times. Don’t take room 320. My key was reset everyday and I would trek upstairs only to realize I had to go back to the front desk multiple times. Housekeeper Kathy was great and helped me get into my room after verifying I was the actual customer and helped me get my luggage in on the first day. The bed was comfy. New towels were dropped off everyday but trash was not emptied for 3 days. The toilet issue will stop me from staying here next time."

"Let me start by saying I had really high hopes for this place. I booked it two weeks in advance for Valentines weekend and was looking forward to spending a relaxing weekend with my wife. But, things went south in a hurry when we pulled into the driveway. The advertisement says it's a gorgeous lakeside getaway. But, there's nothing gorgeous about this place except for the view of the lake. There are no pictures of the outside of the house on the App and I can seewhy. The exterior of the house is in really rough shape and the interior isn't much better. It's got some new appliances. But, other than that it's in poor condition.Old worn out furniture, terrible beds. Dead insects and cobwebs everywhere. No, blinds or drapes. Poor HVAC system. Unless you're planning a fishing trip and don't care about the condition of the house, I would not recommend it. The host was very friendly and accommodating. She offered to move us to a different property in the area that was in much better condition. But, we didn't realize until after we got all of our luggage over there that the tap water smelled like sewer water. So if you wanted wash your hands, take a shower or brush your teeth you had to use that water. And it made the entire house smell for hours. Not a good weekend at all."

"This beautiful hidden gem tucked away in the country was exactly what I was looking for. I chose this home for its pet-friendly and peaceful promise, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, Janey gave clear directions and we were welcomed into a clean, inviting home. She made sure we knew she was available 24/7 if any needs arose. The kitchen was impressively well stocked, and the personalized welcome basket and sign made the space feel incredibly warm and thoughtful. The extra touches — from the personal care items to the chocolate treats and lovely wine/cocktail offerings — went far beyond the basics and made me feel genuinely cared for as a guest.I came here to relax and refresh, while the guys fished the nearby lake and this was the perfect place to do just that. Hearing the owls at night and the occasional distant train horn was a soothing reminder of country living and brought back fond memories from my childhood. I especially loved the beautiful main bathtub, which I enjoyed nightly, the comfortable bed, and the abundance of cozy blankets that made the home feel just like my own.If you’re looking for a peaceful, pet-friendly retreat where every detail has been thoughtfully considered, I cannot recommend this home and host, Janey, highly enough. I would absolutely stay here again."
