“Property is just as described. The porch over the water is serene. Fish weren't biting, the area is slightly flooded, but a very relaxing getaway. The bed is comfortable. Everything you need for cooking is available, just bring your groceries and don't forget the coffee. The town of Jefferson is nearby with nice restaurants and plenty of antique shops.”

“We had a great stay. The house was just as described. The owner said there would be no coffee or other spices and there was a TON of coffee and spices. The house is not near any town, so stock up on what you need on the way in. The view of the lake could not have been better.”

“Overall the property was absolutely beautiful. We took about 15 members of our family for a weekend trip for a lowkey wedding ceremony. Don't be phased by the scenery of the drive in, as the surrounding properties are no reflection of the rental. All of the cabins were very clean and extremely cute. The event center and kitchen is absolutely stunning. Katherine was sure to pop in to see if we needed any help with decorating. Tom and Katherine were so kind and helpful throughout our time there.……

“We rented the house for a fishing trip on pines. Good location and close to a boat ramp. Getting three extended cab trucks and 21’ boats in the driveway was a bit challenging but can be done. Great place for a group of 6 fisherman. Was clean and well equipped.”

“The property was more than adequate for our stay. Being able to sit so near the bayou was also a plus. There were a few things that would have made the stay even better. These included (1) directions on turning the heat on at night; (2) no wifi on the property was almost a non-starter for me; (3) no hair dryer in either bathroom was almost a non-starter for the women; and nonstick cookware is a small investment that would make for happier campers.”
