Family Ski trip

Family Vacation Spot!!

We had the best time staying here. The location could not have been better. We were so close to Vail and Edwards. There was plenty to do at the house with a nice deck and backyard. Plenty of room for the kids to play!

Family vacation

We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the little park down the street. The view of the golf course and mountains was lovely. The home was very clean and comfortable. Well-equipped kitchen. Communication with property management was easy.

Awesome location!

We were very appreciative for an early check-in after our 16 hour drive from WI. The location can't be beat. 5 minutes from Beaver Creek and 15 minutes from Vail. The house itself is extremely spacious and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, x-box, and foose ball table. We misunderstood the posting and thought we were on the skier shuttle bus line, but it worked out fine driving to the Beaver Creek Bear parking lot. Great rental. We hope to be back again!

Perfect ski vacation location and amenities!

We were super happy with the house! It is very well appointed and the owner and property manager were very responsive to our needs! Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and the hot tub was delightful for apres’ ski. We would definitely rent it again!

2021 Family Ski Trip

Loved this property, and communication with the property manager was very easy…Property is situated right between Vail and Beaver Creek and allowed easy access to either resort. House is stocked with basics essentials & games for family and kids after a day on the mountain. Lots of room for our group of 10

Wonderful Property

Everything about this home was right. The owner was responsive and helpful. The floor plan is perfect for multiple families. Every room has its own bathroom. It’s so nice to be able to step off the back porch, go on a long walk and take in the scenery. The owners thought about every detail that would make for a comfortable stay. A heated garage for ski equipment...yes! We’re hoping it’s available next time we come!!!!!!

Beautiful Home in Avon

We had a lovely stay at this house in Avon. There is lots of space and great amenities. It's located a couple of miles from Beaver Creek (not where the map indicates), but is still very convenient. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay!

We had an amazing time at this property for our annual ski trip. The location to nearby Vail and Beaver Creek was great. The house has all the amenities that you could want during a ski trip, especially a very nice hot tub. There was plenty of space for everyone and I would 10/10 recommend this to anyone looking for a mountain getaway! Abby was very helpful with questions as well and overall this was a wonderful stay.

since we got there everything worked out perfectly .. Abby sent me before our arrival, a material explaining all the procedures and we had no troubble during the stay. The only thing was the waste disposal can, which the garbage company did not colected for a reason that we don't know and we are sorry about that. The house is lovely, very well equipped and very confortable, we used the hot tube and the grill, both worked out perfectly The silence and location was also perfect. I have no complains, only complements, and i look forward to return to Avon, where we had a great time, very weel hosted and amazing snow conditions . Thanks for everything dear Abby

Great spacious place with perfect location.

Enjoyed the duplex. There were four adults and five teens. We had enough room for all of us. Four bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths was great. Two living areas and two sectionals. Kitchen was stocked with great applicances, pans, pots and utensils. Perfect distance, roughly halfway, between Beaver Creek Bear Lot and Vail Lionshead Lot. Neighbors were great and very helpful too.

Great location; about a ten min door to door drive to Beaver Creek for a fraction of the cost.

We loved the place. Great for kids, close to Beacer Creek and not too far from Vail. Clean and well stocked home and owner was responsive to our needs and questions. Would definitely go back.

Nice location good layout

One thing to know: there was no shampoo, conditioner or soap provided at the home! So make sure to bring your own. Other than that, everything was excellent. It’s about a 6 min drive to the Elk Lot to park for a very quick shuttle ride to the mountain village and gondola. The location on this app shows the house in a very different location than where it actually was so look at the address instead, but it was an easy location to get to everything. The house was a great layout, easy to have 10 adults with only 2 couples sharing a bathroom. And the hot tub was Awesome!

Comfy, homey, well situated

From the moment you step in the house you feel at home. The fairly recent remodeling is contemporary yet homey. Lots of left over supplies and foodstuff to make the start of vacation easy. Having a bathroom for every bedroom is a plus. The hot tub was great, beds comfy, living and bonus rooms great. Although we had some mechanical issues during our stay the owners got repair people there promptly. The short distance to Avon is a real plus.

Great Escape in Ski Country

This house was perfect for our needs. The owner was very easy to communicate with and answered any questions that we had. The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated, but still cozy. It was fully stocked with the essentials like paper towels, toilet paper, plenty of towels, laundry detergent, etc. The basement was awesome and we utilized the foosball, darts, and video games. This property offers first class amenities and the private hot tub was another huge plus. The property was very clean and a guy even came to clean the hot tub during the day (some of our group didn't ski everyday). The location is close to Beaver Creek and a short drive to Vail or there's a shuttle nearby for a fee. We even did some snowshoeing at Vail pass after we had exhausted ourselves on the slopes for three days in a row. Everyone was very happy with the place and we hope to come back again. I recommend the restaurant Agave for Mexican fare and the Castle Peak Grille for pub food where the locals seemed to go.

Ideal house close to Vail and Beaver Creek

2 families from the UK visited this house for 10 nights in February 2013. The owner was very attentive to emails before the visit and the house was ideal for us located a short drive from either Vail Lionshead or Beaver Creek. We drove most days to Donovan Park (6 miles) (Free parking 5 minutes from Lionshead) and got the free bus to Lionshead drop off, walked about 150 metres and arrived at ski school / Eagle Bahn chair. On one day we drove to Beaver Creek (about 3 minutes) - parked in the free parking lot and got the free bus to the slopes. Always recommend 4WD cars....you never know and the first Friday was knee deep in the dryest, softest snow ever. As for the house - immaculate large, clean hot tub, spacious comfortable rooms throughout, 2 car garage, heated driveway, perfect for two families. For wi-fi fans broadband played up a bit and wasn't ideal but we worked through it rebooting the cable modem when needed.....! The owner sorted two minor issues immediately on day one of our stay and could not have been more helpful. All in all very good value and would definitely stay there again.

This is really a home

This was the perfect place for a mini family get-together. Not sterile like so many rentals, you could feel the added warmth of people who care about it. As mentioned in other reviews, the little things made a difference - kitchen supplies, quality of linens, towels, etc were much appreciated. The hot tub was spotless and much enjoyed. Plenty of room for 8 adults and an infant. The location is great for skiing at either Vail or Beaver Creek. We may make this an annual event at this home.

Awesome accommodations

This home is wonderful. We loved the photography, art, and books throughout. The kitchen is wonderfully outfitted - we had everything we needed. It's a perfect home for families to share - nice flat screen TV's, plenty of room and lovely, comfortable furnishings. And a hot tub right on the deck. We were extra excited about the quality towels, linens, and bedding - not always the case with VRBO properties. Finally, the owners respond quickly to inquiries and are so easy to communicate with. This VRBO is definitely exceptional.
