"Finlandia is beautiful and exactly as pictured! The kitchen has everything you need and more. The beds are comfortable, multiple TVs are appreciated, and the dog-friendliness is amazing. We were able to check in earlier than expected, had wonderful communication from the host, and had zero issues. If we come back to Avon, we will book Finlandia again! Thanks again for a great stay!"

"I loved staying here! The house was clean, spacious and perfect for the family and kids to hang out and ride the kayak down the canal in the backyard. The Avon pier right across the street was the cherry on top! We will definitely be returning. The weekend was not long enough!"

"Clean, lots of room.Good location. No liquid dish soap or dish sponge. Was delivered later. Freezer door handle kept disconnecting from door. Reported it, it was never fixed. Toilet paper dispenser first floor bathroom was coming off wall. Reported, never fixed. Ceiling fan same room stopped working, never was fixed. So not happy with service issues. Overall house was great, family enjoyed our time."

"This is the 2nd time we stayed at the property and we already booked for next summer! Property is right on the sound for beautiful evening views. Also convenient walk to the beach with beach access close by. Each bedroom has direct access to a bathroom which is a huge plus for us. The owner was very responsive and really we only had to reach out when we found a wasp nest in the outdoor shower. It was removed the same day we let the know about it. This house is perfect for fishing off the dock, kayaking, and enjoying the sound. We also took advantage of the community pool which is very convenient to the house. The house is close to restaurants and shops in Avon. We enjoyed our stay and will return next summer!"

"Surprisingly Clean and as advertised! It was a joy!Surf and Sound was great to work with. Were attentive in case we needed anything. THEY CALLED ME to checkingto our needs.I highly recommend them and will use them with our next visit!"

"We had a wonderful trip and the property was exactly what we were expecting. Great location and easy access to the beach. “The Deck” was definitely one of the better places we’ve stayed and the owner was easy to get ahold of if we had any issue. Lucky for us, we didn’t! I would highly recommend this property if you’re looking for your next stay in OBX!"
