“We were fortunate to stay at Mullions 51 on the recent Bank Holiday Monday. In the evening the local folk group entertained us with their singing and guitar playing, whilst we had dinner in the restaurant. They play every fortnight on a Monday and I feel Mullions 51 would do well to include a set meal on their menu to accompany their visits, and encourage people to stay. “Nice location right on the sea front with the benefit of a traditional pub for drinks and dinner. friendly staff, and the room was small but had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Generally comfy hover we found the pillows a bit lumpy and the room was warm but being in the ground floor and easily accessed we didn’t want to leave the window open but otherwise a good stay and the breakfast is good. ”

“A grade II listed property in a historical part of Shepton Mallet. Took time to read up on the area, would recommend everyone to do that, very interesting. Comfortable bed, clean room and great hosts. Some noise from the road adjacent to the Inn, not a deal breaker. Would I stay here again Yes. ”

“The pub/hotel is on the Main Street across from the petrol station so we expected it to be noisy but thankfully it wasn’t in the room. You check in at the bar which can be problematic if you bring your luggage in with you as it can be packed with bar patrons. The rooms are in a separate building which is quite new, parking is first come first serve for both hotel and general public so we had to park down the street until we could find one closer. “My husband and I spent ten days there in September 2015. The house-owner, Helen is very nice. Every day she kindly recommended some landmarks for us to visit. And she was willing to assist us. For those who are wishing to stay as a home-liked place, this hotel will be a good choice. The room was clean, there was someone responsible for cleaning your room every single day. “Unlike any b&b we have stayed at before and the outside staircase to our room was a bit unnerving for us older folks. The rooms were clean and tidy and the shower was simple to operate. We had breakfast in the separate attached Indian restaurant which was beautifully laid out with linen taken clothes. However the wardrobe was in need of repair and the fridge had old food in it. The bedside cabinets had a layer of dust but I base my review on comfort and hospitality ”

“Absolutely beautiful B B run by great owners, who serve up a the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. Local pubs are amazing selling great food also! All the shops you will need and a beautiful 10 minute walk up a hill behind the B B to take in the view of the surrounding area. Perfect Stay.”
