Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel and Conference Center
10/10 Excellent
"Room was wonderful, quiet, clean. I had trouble using the AC. The front desk sent someone. They showed up within minutes. Turned out the AC wasn’t working so they offered a fan for each one of us. Again, they showed up with the fans within minutes. Wonderful guest services. Will definitely use them again. "
"The check-in process was bad as we have to wait in line for almost 40 minutes. There was not enough staff (only three at the front desk) and there was a big group that arrived right before we did. The staff tried to make it up by offering a beverage to us waiting in line. The hotel's facilities are okay for the price point.
It is a bit far from Amsterdam's centers so not as convenient as we would've preferred but it was the best option for us booking so close to our arrival date. There is a metro station just across the street which makes traveling to the center a bit easier but trains stop running after midnight and you'll have to take a bus and walk a bit or take an Uber if you stay in town past midnight.
Breakfast is all you can eat buffet but a bit pricey (over 30 euros) so we only ate at the hotel twice."
"This place is a budget hotel. It is very very convenient to Schipol. Free shuttle was awesome especially if you’ll use the train station at Schipol to get around. It is central to lots of locations like Haarlem Utrecht etc. small tv sucked but I got over it. Again it is a budget hotel. Lots of food options INSIDE the hotel. They had a restaurant, a buffet and take away. Nothing fancy but several options."
"Beautiful, modern, clean, easy access to public transportation. Breakfast Buffett had many options of delicious food. The elevator was new to us. You would put in what floor you needed and it would tell you which elevator to use. The room was gorgeous! Unique in its layout, with a tablet to control the lights, blinds, temperature, etc.
We loved it! I would recommend it and would stay again."
