“Orchid Harbor is a charming house located in one of Maine’s beautiful coastal areas. There was lots of room inside and out for our use. It was very comfortably furnished and had many touches that harkened back to days gone by. (I discovered a stack of old magazines, many of which were Women’s Day and were published in the 1940s and 50s and cost a whopping 2 cents!) John is a welcoming host and eager to make sure you enjoy your stay. The cottage is great for 2 people, equipped with the basics and has a great deck to enjoy the views. Planning to return next year. Great spot!”

“The place was clean, bright, and exactly as shown in the pictures. There were fresh towels (4), toiletries, dishsoap/dishwasher tablets, and an in window AC. The table and bed are both lovely and roomy for two people. Plenty of places to plug in devices. The Seadog brewery was walking distance and would recommend for dinner and a pint. Also enjoyed Dutchman's bagels and Baked on Main (marginally longer walk). We were really happy with our stay!”

“We had a very nice 10-day stay at this cottage. The location was great for us, the house was as expected from the listing, and we were generally very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The host was very friendly, accommodating and responsive leading up to and during our stay. The main area that could use improvement is the cleaning. There was some trash left inside when we arrived, and the kitchen—particularly the stovetop, sink, and some of the smaller surfaces……

“This place was wonderful. Very clean with everything we needed and then some. The location was great - located in a quiet area, but within walking distance of LL Bean and many other Freeport shops as well as lots of restaurants. This was an easy place to stay to see areas like Bailey Island, Harpswell, Brunswick and up the coast to Camden as a day trip, as well as points in between. It's also close to the interstate, so when it was time to go, 295 was easy to get to. I would stay here……
