“The forest and the wildlife are the reason for staying here so in that respect this place gets 10 out of 10. We did a birding tour and a night walk and took advantage of the free nature walk. The latter was conducted by Joel and I strongly encourage people not to pass on this even though they may have other tours booked. “It’s a fantastic lodge in the middle of the kungör. The cabins are very rustic, but has electricity and a private bathroom. Wi-Fi in the public building. Good food, wine and beer in the restaurant. Nice tours in the jungle and fantastic personel. If you don’t expect a five star hotel, than you get a five star experience.”

Uitstekende service; zo mochten we wat langer na uitcheck-tijd op de kamer blijven om te douchen na het raften. Super! Aardig personeel en prima eten. Prima prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Onze kamer was wat gedateerd, maar dat was geen probleem en hij was bovendien ruim en met prachtig uitzicht. ”

“This is a charming resort. Please don’t expect five star luxury but the facilities are very nice and the team extremely friendly. They cater for larger groups but that was not a problem. The area has some wonderful walks and wildlife - although unfortunately we did not see any sloths. ”

“My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. ”
