“Our eight day stay at the Old Pole Barn was SO wonderful, it’s hard to find all the right words to describe it. You’d be hard pressed to find a “neater”, “kooler”, greater, etc place to stay In Chattanooga, especially if you’d like to feel you are in the country - but yet the city is only minutes away. And, our hosts were the absolute “Best of the Best” of any we’ve had in 48 years of travel. We hope we will always be able to stay at The Ole Pole Barn when we come to Chattanooga.”

“There were 8 of us. The house is very spacious and comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked with pans and dishes. With 4 bedrooms and 4 baths we were able to spread out and have our own space. Mariella, the owner, was extremely helpful every time we had questions. She even took the time to put fresh cut flowers on the table and entryway! Such a thoughtful touch! The lake was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and listening to the waterfall. We walked around the lake……

“We enjoyed so much about the property. The huge table & island were for meals, puzzles & card games for a big group. The hot tub was a toasty delight for the cooler nights of spring break. The huge couch over looking the river was so comfy and the windows made the perfect frame for the evening sky. The drive to the property was beautiful this time of year with the red buds & dogwoods in bloom. The idea of summer with the pool & higher level of the river for fishing off the dock has us wanting to……

“If you need a place to stay in Cleveland, TN book this house--you won't be disappointed. I would say it is exactly as described but it's even better in person. This is by far the best home I have ever rented. Carol (the owner) is wonderful to work with and pays special attention to even the smallest detail. Location is perfect, furniture is comfortable, the bed was dreamy, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, and the bathrooms (2 1/2) are great--especially the master. I'd give……

“This was the perfect solution for us. Our son graduated from UTC Saturday morning and then we helped him move out of his apartment that was located literally across the street. Ample space and amenities for the short time we actually spent in the room. The basement room was a bit chilly, but we prefer that when we sleep so it wasn’t a huge deal for us. A previous review complained about the water not getting hot, but we found that it just took a while to heat up. Both the shower and sink knobs……
