    Completely restored in 2017 preserving the cachet of the old, this independent building offers on the ground floor: a separate entrance with a double exposure, a toilet, a closet and direct access to the private garden.
    On the floor: a stay / dining room of 40 m ² livened up with a stone chimney, an equipped kitchen, a big room with independent entrance, a second room with independent entrance, a room of independent bath with TOILET.

    This cottage is located in the park of Château de Rochefuret, pretty house of the eighteenth century, totally quiet.
    At the Dryer of Rochefuret calm, well-being and authenticity are assured for cultural stays or nature. Please contact me for availability by mail loriere68 @

    Dishwasher, oven, induction hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine, electric heating.
    Sheets, towels and linens provided- bed made.
    Baby equipment (cot, high chair) possible on request.

    Close to the A10 and A85 motorways.

    Castles of the Loire: The Séchoir is in the heart of the valley of the kings. The Château de Villandry and its gardens is about 7 km, the castle of Azay le Rideau and its moat 10 km, the very sensitive castle of Chenonceau, the royal castle of Amboise 30 minutes, Chambord and Cheverny: 1 hour approx …… to recite nobody else but them.

    Sports:
    The Golf Touraine is on the other side of the village. The NECA equestrian center at 700 m, just next to the Carnaux sports center. The bike paths of La Loire à Vélo are just below the Tuffaut hillside. Lake Bretonnières offers water activities and fishing. The acrobranch ... is 10min. 7km to Savonnières, you can discover the magic of petrifying caves, a traditional boat ride of the Loire, swim on the dam Cher. Fly in the Chenonceau hot-air balloon, by plane to Louroux, by plane to Sorigny.

    Culture and shopping:
    The wine routes cross at Rochefuret: Bourgueil, Chinon, Vouvray, Loire wines are nearby. The Dryer of Rochefuret is a central stage to radiate in the cellars around. Shops are 1 km and shopping in the center of Tours within 10 kms

Un beau souvenir

Après une expérience désagréable avec l’appartement que nous avions loué à Paris, nous avons encore plus apprécié la qualité de l’accueil et le confort de l’appartement de Rochefuret. L’appartement est très beau, fort propre et bien équipé. La propriétaire nous a accueilli avec chaleur et amabilité. Le site où se trouve l’appartement, le parc du Château de Rochefuret, est d’une très grande beauté, calme et silencieux. Tous les services (épicerie, boulangerie, essence...) sont à 5 minutes en auto à Ballan-Miré. Les plus beaux châteaux de la Loire ainsi que quelques-uns des lieux primés Plus beau village de France sont situés dans un rayon de 90 kilomètres dont certain à 15 minutes. Des balades inoubliables d’où nous revenions avec bonheur sachant que nous nous retrouverions dans le cadre enchanteur du Château de Rochefuret.

Best place to see the castles and know the aristocracy

If you want to see the Loire castles you may stay many places. But Rochefuret Castle is the ideal place to stay and visit in style. The hosts are great, the place is amazing, a real castle which can be anytime in the visiting circuit. And if the castle is not enough the surrounding estate forest is even better. A place you can get lost within the property walls. Privacy of stay, entry and exit at any time, the guests house is a separate unit, own garden, a very comfortable place to relax after a day of roaming around.

La Touraine et ses châteaux, et bien vous y serez !, l'endroit, une dépendance du château est vaste, raffiné, paisible, entouré de verdures. D'une propreté exemplaire, la literie douillette et parfaite, tout est pensé, organisé pour se sentir comme à la maison. La propriétaire est d'une gentillesse exquise, elle vous contera l'histoire du lieu ... voilà tout est dit ... une parenthèse de calme et de vrai repos, hors du temps.

Hidden Gem

The owner was gracious with her time. She shared history of the property and was helpful in offering special stops on our itinerary. We especially enjoyed the beautiful guesthouse furnishings. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed to prepare an evening dinner from our trip to the Ballan-Mire market.

Situé dans un cadre exceptionnel, particulièrement calme et ressourçant, logement entièrement rénové et spacieux, très propre et bien équipé, literies très confortables. Accueil chaleureux, une famille très à l'écoute des locataires. Je recommande vivement.
